I don't think BOF Jimmy based on the Canyon/Colorado would be a stretch, esp considering GM has stated they want the AT4 badge available throughout their GMC lineup. V8 seems unlikely, given the canyon underpinning, but I would certainly consider it regardless. I really like the look of the...
Same here. I was set on the V6, I like my power, and was against the 4.....until this option became available. I may be way off, but I think the 4 will "feel" more powerful backed by the standard transmission. Biggest things holding me back from base is the interior and I'd really like the mid...
The 18 Edge and 20 Explorer I've had both came without a hitch. I added a 2in Class III to each for around $150. The Edge was a simple bolt-on, the Explorer did require some trimming to the heat shields and bumper cover. Both required dropping the exhaust, but that wasn't overly difficult.
I...
I've thought the same thing....surely someone will make these, even if they aren't able to be done from the cab. I'm thinking the auto system could be a nightmare down the road too....Like Lincolns and Land Rovers with the air suspensions that are now dragging A$$.
Godzilla actually seems like a very logical direction to go if you just HAD to go v8. Sourced straight from a super duty, made for heavy duty use, already applied to a 4 X 4, and its smaller than the coyote-easier to fit under the hood. Take everything underneath a 7.3, engine, trans, maybe even...
I counted five also, but leaned in the direction of B____ thread-the place to air all your complaints about the options you can't get on the package you want, B & P not being done, etc.
I believe it's rated around 450 in the F250, but a little further digging shows 790 just on the engine, and they're in the process of adding a whipple-hoping for 1500+. They've done some work since I looked it up last!
That engine is going to be 445 cubic inches of swapper's dreams! They've already pushedthem over 600hp with just a cam/intake swap, and they're relatively small because of the pushrod design--it's narrower than the coyote and will fit right in a fox body.
I've wondered the same about the size in general myself. It's really hard to judge from pictures. I'm hoping somewhere between the bronco II and the OJ bronco--a 4dr similar in size to a 4Runner maybe?
not positive, but one thing I do like is Ford allows the "+" "-" to act as an override even when in auto. at least it did on the 18 Edge, and 20 explorer I've had. For example, driving in the rockies of Colorado in auto, I can hit "-" and it will down shift on steep grades, for acceleration or...
I put the wrong link. Edited to correct, but I may be doing it wrong.
I'm referring to the google doc with dealers and interested users thats available on the the "Texas volume order start up thread".
https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/texas-volume-order-start-up-thread-survey-link-now-included.2889/
should we still add ourselves to the list on that link, or is it not being used now that this thread was started?
