  1. Took delivery of a big bend bronco today!!!

There must have been zero soft top orders ahead of OP at that dealership. That’s an unusually fast timeline even for a soft top. I switched my manual BB order to soft top on 6/30 and have a 9/27 build week. (Nov 2020 Reservation)
  2. Why is the BB so much more than the Base?

Signature lighting package is pretty nice too and not even available on the Black Diamond. Also, not sure if anyone has mentioned yet that you can’t even get a manual on a 4dr base. I definitely see the value in a 2 door base, but cactus gray 4dr BB manual with rear locker is a nice sweet spot...
  3. Why is the BB so much more than the Base?

You can definitely get manual transmission and rear locker on Big Bend. The tiered pricing was clearly designed to promote the Bronco as starting at $28.5k.
  4. Other Moab Must-do's?

I think it’s a nice feature that all styles of draft beer are “sessionable” in Utah.
  5. Late reservation/order folks- who has confirmed orders?

11/29/20 Reservation Date 9/27/21 Build Date 4dr Soft Cactus Big Bend Manual I switched to soft top a couple months ago to see if I could jump the line some. It seems to have worked.
  6. 📬 8/26 Scheduling Email Received Group!

11/29/20 Reservation Date 9/27/21 Build Date 4dr Soft Cactus Big Bend Manual I switched to soft top a couple months ago to see if I could jump the line some. It seems to have worked.
  7. What's your back-up plan?

King’s Red MK8 GTI or Chief Blue Willys JL (both with 3 pedals of course)
  8. TFL: 2021 Bronco vs Wrangler vs Defender - Off-Road Trail Comparison Video

This is why my lightly-armored Big Bend will be parked at the trail head and I’ll hike to the top.
  9. Drag Race by TFL: Bronco First Edition 2.7L vs. Jeep Wrangler 4XE vs. Toyota FJ

Motor Trend didn’t compare these two vehicles. You did.
  10. Drag Race by TFL: Bronco First Edition 2.7L vs. Jeep Wrangler 4XE vs. Toyota FJ

This is a reasonable point, but the video is comparing one of the very slowest configurations of Bronco against one of the quickest configurations of Wrangler. Others are comparing this Bronco’s time against vehicles much closer to sea level that have been launched by a pro driver with optimal...
  11. Drag Race by TFL: Bronco First Edition 2.7L vs. Jeep Wrangler 4XE vs. Toyota FJ

I don’t know why you’re still trying to compare a specific f-150 that was tracked who knows where to a FE bronco in a different location with a different driver and who knows all the other variables.
  12. Drag Race by TFL: Bronco First Edition 2.7L vs. Jeep Wrangler 4XE vs. Toyota FJ

Actually, the F-150's curb weight varies from 4,069 to 5,697 pounds, depending on the size of the engine, cab and bed.
  13. Drag Race by TFL: Bronco First Edition 2.7L vs. Jeep Wrangler 4XE vs. Toyota FJ

Lots of physics deniers in this thread. There are an infinite number of variables that arrive at this 0-60 conclusion, but the only ones allowed to be discussed are the engine and the automatic transmission. The things that drivers do to achieve the lowest times are completely unrealistic and...
  14. Drag Race by TFL: Bronco First Edition 2.7L vs. Jeep Wrangler 4XE vs. Toyota FJ

4dr FE weighs 800lbs more than a 4dr Big Bend 4dr FE weighs 1000lbs more than a 2dr Big Bend
  15. Drag Race by TFL: Bronco First Edition 2.7L vs. Jeep Wrangler 4XE vs. Toyota FJ

I wonder if there are threads on the Mustang forum about not being great at rock crawling…
  16. Drag Race by TFL: Bronco First Edition 2.7L vs. Jeep Wrangler 4XE vs. Toyota FJ

I can only speculate, but I’ve heard the FE doesn’t have sport mode. The 2.3 manual could possibly be quicker in some situations since there is complete control over the shift points.
  17. Drag Race by TFL: Bronco First Edition 2.7L vs. Jeep Wrangler 4XE vs. Toyota FJ

You should watch the TFL videos that illustrate how terrible EV range is at altitude.
  18. Drag Race by TFL: Bronco First Edition 2.7L vs. Jeep Wrangler 4XE vs. Toyota FJ

Plus 35” tires and crazy soft suspension and shift points to accommodate all that and mile high elevation. Get a 2dr big bend with sport mode at sea level if you really want to drag race a bronco. This is so dumb.
  19. Drag Race by TFL: Bronco First Edition 2.7L vs. Jeep Wrangler 4XE vs. Toyota FJ

It’s not the engine! It’s not the transmission! It’s 5,256lbs! C’mon guys. How many times are we going to do this?
  20. Thoughts on 3 Broncos driven and pics next to my Grand Cherokee

I can’t imagine how an auto could feel peppier than a manual with the same engine. I’ll take you’re word for it until I can try for myself. Regardless of the tenths of a second quicker the auto might shift, I would think being able to have complete control of shift points would be a much more...
