Sorry, I don't know the numbers. But you don't want to look at the dual top part numbers. Since I needed the ones for the soft top the dealer order the parts based on the soft top. According to him, the geniuses at Ford didn't include a cover that works with the soft top in the dual top parts...
I added a Bimini type cover to my Bronco. For the price I think it works pretty well. I've had two. The first one was a Mabett design. This one didn't work for me. It used adjustable straps and some magnets in the front corners. Flapped around a lot. It was about $50. So I sent that one back...
I think I see that we have seven members. If we can get to TEN members, let's have a meetup somewhere in TALLAHASSEE.
That's me behind this green beauty. I was parked next to a black Raptor PU and then the orangish Raptor Bronco was parked next to the PU. Picture for no particular reason.
@pandapaul but in the meantime. Here is what I bought from Amazon https://amzn.to/42pY87s There is a good overhead picture of it. This one uses bungees which was way better than the Mabett with adjustable straps in my opinion. Mabett also used magnets on the front corners which didn't seem...
@pandapaul I will just show it do you tomorrow in Perry, GA, if you are going. I didn't take any photos of it. It seemed to be pretty good. I've only driven with it at up to 60mph. Anytime you open up the top and it is very sunny, I would think this would be very practical.
So far I'm just doing the simple mods. First were the Clamber side steps. Wife approved. Yesterday, I received my second Bimini top and this one is the bomb so far. Its a "Rerpro" brand that was only $30 and twice as nice as the Mabett for $50. I really like most Mabett products but the...
Same here. Nothing in my area of Florida, near Tallahassee. Which is surprising because there is a national forest just to the south of me that people drive, hike, etc. in.
I bought a Big Bend 2023 on March 18. The dealer had only two new ones when I showed up. The red Big Bend was stock. Just a Mid package and rear locking diff (4.27), dual tops(!), tow package, blah, blah and a dang burn plastic standard bumper.
I bought a lift kit...no not for wheels and...
Felt the wind in your hair. What a feeling. This morning I got up early to drive out to the Tallahassee Rifle and Pistol Club clean up and luncheon. It's about a 36 minute drive from my house and I needed to be there by 0800. Made it no worries. I picked a detail that was easy for me and...
@pandapaul which snorkel? I was leaning toward one. I had one on my 2020 Colorado ZR2 Bison diesel. But I understand that the aftermarket snorkel just adds an additional intake and doesn't close off the original intake. So no improvement in bow wake. Not really sure how it improves cold air...
These are not needed to install the soft top. These are to give the cargo area a finished look. Just like when the hard top is installed. Now I have both. I didn't get the part numbers because I handed the empty bags back to the service guy after I opened them to install them (to confirm...
Well, lo and behold, the dealer had ordered the correct parts. They ordered the parts for a soft top because the dual doesn't show a different set of plates! They told me that they "ate the cost" which while I didn't laugh, I sure thought was funny. I'm sure they made a pretty penny off of me...
