After reading your experience I took the plunge. First I cleaned around the existing Bronco, Taped (painters tape) it off to provide me a good idea of placement. I skipped the heat gun and just used some 50lb fishing line I had laying about. Cut through about half of the tape and then I was...
Dealer says the parts I need have come in and are at no cost to me. $60 a piece for a left and right cover panel are needed. Driving up to Thomasville GA from Tallahassee to pick them up. Its only about a 45 minute drive and for the most part it is a pleasant drive. Driving through Thomasville...
Thank you for sharing your wheel issues. I purchased my Big Bend on March 18 and I have around 650 miles on it. I took my torque wrench out, after verifying the 100 lbs torque setting in the manual and check all the lugs. Most were spot on but a some needed a bit of nudge to tighten.
I've put it on our calendar. I hope to be able to attend. Overlanding not really my thing anymore but it will be good to see a bunch of Broncos, maybe even some Jeeps.
I have a 23 with the dual top option. I bought the J-Barr lifting bar and a 120v electric winch that looks like yours. Worked so great to remove the hard top from my Bronco by myself. But when it came time to install the soft top I had to get a friend to help me lift it into place. I'm...
My 23 BB came with the dual tops, hard top installed with the soft top stored in the back seat and cargo bay. I bought a J-Barr system that includes the "bar" and two straps. They sell it with or without a hand winch. I bought just the bar and straps and coupled it with a 120 volt winch from...
@pandapaul, yes, that store installed my winch and snorkel. They did okay on the snorkel but I had to take it back because they didn't use the touch up paint I bought for them to use. But I never saw any rust so I guess they did okay. But the winch they didn't do a good job. In fact, they...
Well, it appears that the dual top option does not include the necessary plates to finish the install. This is according to the Ford chat person. Seems deceptive to me. Oh you wanted tires with that vehicle? Appears that Ford scores another $120 to add the correct parts.
My dealer ordered...
Good to hear about Minco. Not a fan of another shop on Mahan. Anyway. I had a 2020 Colorado ZR2 Bison with all the skid plates, front and rear lockers (ZR2 package) I think the tires where 31s ( 30.6, stock for the ZR2) Added a hidden Warn winch, ditch lights, rear bumper lights and a snorkel...
Hello Tallahassee. I just bought a 23 Bronco Big Bend. Not quite as capable as my previous 2020 ride that had front and rear lockers and steel bumpers, front and rear and with a full set of skid plates. But I have wanted a new Bronco since 1977. I was going to try to buy one that year but...
I've had my 23 Big Bend for a little over a week. It came with the dual top option. The hard top was installed and the soft top was on a pallet stuffed into the back. The dealer took it out the day I bought and stored it for me until I could pick it up on Tuesday (there were three of us and...
Hi, I'm a new owner Tallahassee, FL. Mine is a Big Bend dual tops. Working to get the hard top this week after I install a lift in the garage to facilitate removing it.
I've been a Bronco dreamer since about 1976. I joined the Air Force in 76 and figured I will try to buy a new one in 77 but...
