Added an inexpensive tailgate table to my Bronco. It is cheap at about $110. Has pretty good instructions, which could be a bit better. All hardware was provided. There wasn't enough rubber edging to fully follow the instructions. I made do. So far I don't hear any rattling. I was going...

Ever since I bought my 23 Big Bend in March 2023, I've seen people ask about interior ambient lightning. I've seen items for sale. Well, I couldn't help but notice that the Bronco has ambient floor lighting. At least in the front. It was set to minimum and I moved it to maximum. Nice. 2.3L...
  3. Catch can needed?

Well, do I need a catch can? The J&L is a quality product to be sure. I checked the can 500 miles and again after another 1000 miles. There is basically no liquid in the can but there is a fine coating. So it is catching the oil. Not sure how many miles you have to drive without one to see...
  4. Rear Sensors in the Fab Four Vengeance Bumper

Well, after chatting with Flip, it appears my sensors will not work with the Fab Four Vengeance bumper. I see other steel bumpers that use the same sensor rings that came in with my OEM plastic bumper. Not really looking to purchase another steel bumper. So for now I've turned the sensors...
  5. Top 5 MUST-HAVE Accessories for the Ford Bronco

Nice list. I have the Helm book , the floormats and I found that that most of the choices for flaps were either ridiculously expensive or too cheap to consider. I went with BroFlaps, found Etsy. There versions for the SAS and the non-SAS. The owner was very helpful when I dumped my rear...
  6. New “Mabett” Raptor Style Fog Lights for modular bumper

Well, why do we have 4WD? That's a lot of weight to carry around for no reason. Why not just a rear locker (if that) and call it done. Have your every driven the ALCAN (Alaska Canada Highway)? I have, twice. I've seen a couple driving a Suburban and they hit some road trash and it punctured...
  7. New “Mabett” Raptor Style Fog Lights for modular bumper

What I did was remove the harness from the old plastic bumper with fog lights and match the connectors. I believe I used these to run to some aftermarket fog lights. https://amzn.to/47HH53b I used a different connector for the Mabett lights but I tied them into the AUX switchs...
  8. Rear Sensors in the Fab Four Vengeance Bumper

I replaced the front bumper without any real issues, of course my BB trim level at Mid didn't have the front sensors to worry about. Now on the rear bumper. I replaced the cheap (quality) plastic bumper with the Fab Four Vengeance bumper. Instructions were clear enough on removing the...
  9. Auto Start Stop eliminator

I don't really like the Pavlovian dog treatment of having to remember to push two buttons when I drive the Bronco. One to start it and one to stop the auto stop start system. So I went with this little box. It mounts under the dash to the left of the drive. It really is plug and play...
  10. New “Mabett” Raptor Style Fog Lights for modular bumper

Here are some more pictures of my Chinese "OEM" HD Modular Bumper installed with the RC Mount, Warn EVO 10S, Mabett off road "fog" lights and fog lights mounted on the bumper with Tricky Distributions mounts (connect to the stock wiring so that it operates from the Ford fog light switch). For...
  11. New “Mabett” Raptor Style Fog Lights for modular bumper

I will take some pictures today. That coating is some good stuff. My experience is that it wasn't going any where so no I didn't do any prep except maybe to dust it off. I keep it garaged but it has been in the rain on road trips. No rust that I recall....except from Ford production in other...

Well, my Fab Four Vengeance bumper came in on Monday, so yesterday I installed it. Fairly easy install. I couldn't believe how cheap and lame the plastic rear bumper was. There isn't any metal backing in it like in the front. One of the nutserts stripped out of the plastic. Cheap. Junk. The FF...
  13. PandaPaul's Build Thread: Snorkel, 37's, Fox Coilovers, Icon UCA, Core4x4 Arms/Trac Bar, DV8 Bumper, Smittybilt Winch

Yes, that's why I'm leaning toward OEM. However, OEM location is fine as well. I like the Fab Four. Haven't seen any reviews. I don't want to purchase a problem child (related to the rear sensors). Still looking for now.
  14. PandaPaul's Build Thread: Snorkel, 37's, Fox Coilovers, Icon UCA, Core4x4 Arms/Trac Bar, DV8 Bumper, Smittybilt Winch

Hey Paul, your rear bumper is that the OEM "Steel" bumper. I have the plastic bumper on my BB and I want to upgrade. Looking at the OEM steel bumper. I've heard that it is mostly steel with a lot of plastic bits. So I might just go another route. But what do you think of it, if you haven't...

Pandapaul that's an awesome setup! I love the snorkel but my family complained relentlessly about the snorkel on my 2020 Colorado ZR2 Bison diesel that I traded for my 23BB. I'm also not a fan of the snorkel taking up real estate that would otherwise be used for "ditch" lights but I still love it.

I bought Black Diamond 17 inch rims and the Bronco caps to go with them. Now my plan is to have the tires moved off the current rims along with the TPMS. Anyone know a tire place that will be willing to do the swap? The first place I tried was Tires Plus and they "don't do that any more". I...
  18. Ford transfer case skid installed on Base Bronco (with part numbers)

Interesting. I have the ASFIR transfer case skid and I haven't crawled under the vehicle in a while but where does the end closer to the engine mount that the transmission skid caused the problem. Any pictures? Thanks! PS, I was looking at the install video. I don't see how it would be an...
  19. Ford transfer case skid installed on Base Bronco (with part numbers)

Excellent. I went the Mabett route for the transmission skid first because I was concerned about the plastic pan of the auto transmission. Very beefy aluminum, I think it is a good value. Then because I have a 23 BBX with plastic bash plates (what a joke for an "off-road" vehicle), I added...

Now I'm thinking that the rim only picks up about 7 lbs of weight over the aluminum. I may keep the tires and just switch to the rims.
