I'm sure nobody cares, but here's a link to my Spotify playlist:
I've got a few songs from 1965, the first year for the Gen 1 bronco. I've also got a few from 1988, the model year for my first Bronco ("Fast Car" is a cover by Black Pumas and it's awesome). The rest are either bluesy rock...
So I have a date with my new Bronco at 2 PM. That'll give me a chance to clean up the van, get some lunch and finish that Spotify playlist I started for the ride home.
I will try to give driving impressions and answer any questions when I get home with it this afternoon.
Mine went "In Production" on maybe 6/16. By 6/18 I had a window sticker. Blend date was 6/25. It didn't show "Built" until late 6/28 or 6/29. Delivery estimate of 7/3 to 7/9. It never showed shipping and it never said anything but pending on the shipping website. It came in at 5:30 this morning.
I got the email at 8 AM this morning! My salesman said Christmas came at 5:40 this morning! I've got tires coming, and I have to clean out the van to possibly trade, but it's going to be in my driveway today!
@Lab00Rat Would you be able/willing to dive into what colors might accent this color well as far as pinstriping or graphics? I've seen the black/orange on the Mustang Fighter Jet... Any thoughts?
That sounds like a semantic issues. Maybe yoy have to "take delivery," but the moment you sign, it's yours and they are just an aftermarket vendor.
I just did the same as OP with the same build. I ordered 5 Toyo ATIII's and they are giving me 75% for the takeoffs.
I suppose that's if you use Android Auto? What about the Sync voice system? In the Titan for instance:
Press button: "Please say a command..."
Press button to cut her short: "Dial soandso"
"Is this corr...?" Press button to cut her short: "Yes"
I wonder how many voice commands have to be given to place a Bluetooth call... in my Titan, it's two but I can cut them short by hitting the call button. In my wife's Pacifica, it takes several seconds because I have to listen to a dissertation. Anybody have experience with Ford sync in general...
That's a lot of pressure, man. I have to be a trend-setter with my mods? But isn't that how the Carolina Squatters came to be? And look what we did to them...
I agree with most of this thread, but one motivation for a lot of this stuff will always be, "It looks cool." That's one thing that makes modifying a car/truck/SUV so appealing. If it looks really cool, and I can justify its price tag with its use, I'll probably do it. The 16-year-old in me...
