Right now I'm using the abacus and scribbling on my cave wall ;)
I reset the trip 1 and am letting it calculate separately from the overall system. At next fuel refill I'll calculate by hand.
Ummm...a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. It would fluctuate 5+ mph going down a hill. You'd look down and be going 67 with the cruise set a 60. Even my Titan fluctuates by 1-2 mph, which is normal. The transmission seems to hold the Bronco back well.
I'm going to my dealer to install the new tires sometime this week. It's right beside a Chrysler dealership. If they have a Trailhawk, I'll park beside it.
That actually made it worse, as more of the strap was exposed to the wind. My daughter even locked them, but it was no better. It's not a huge deal, but at relatively high speeds it is somewhat annoying and I'm sure I'll get those little nick marks on the pillar plastic from the buckle.
Some (@604Bronco ) were asking about size comparisons. I parked next to a 4Runner SR5 today--it had TRD wheels but not sure if it was or not. Here are some comparison shots--it's exactly the same size as the Bronco on stock 32's:
Also, I've driven nearly 500 miles so far, and I'm averaging...
I'm on the fence as well. This is sort of catastrophic insurance. Do they expect the Broncos to get beaten up? Sure. Will they say, "Hey, no problem" if you roll one? Probably not.
That said, with a guide on a controlled course I don't plan on rolling one. But as a wise man once said (Tyson?)...
2.7 4dr. Driving with the soft top in the first position so more drag. Driving 59 mph and 74 mph with cruise, with a mix of city driving thrown in. Even had to pass a few slowpokes on the highway.
This is more in line with what I have read. It may mean a *little* less travel, but 1-2 isn't going to affect the upper control arms etc. like some have said.
I'll admit I'm inexperienced in the world of suspension lifts. But how is a 1-2" level spacer system going to harm the suspension? I've seen numerous experts here and elsewhere say that a lift under 3" would be ok.
The soft top is generally quiet in that I can talk and listen to music at normal volumes. But there is some wind noise. There is a whistle in the front with the top up and down, so I assume that's the aerodynamics of the windshield and not the top. There is some wind noise from the back, but it...
