Blend date is on the top near middle of your window sticker, which is published about a week prior to your build day. It will be a number code above the word "blend." For instance, mine said 320210625, indicating a 6/25 build date.
Very altruistic of you, I must say!
Actually, I have two shops each with a garage door. But one has a pool table occupying the space inside the door, and the other is a wood shop. Saw dust isn't any more appealing than bird poop.
Except when the windows are out of the soft top and/or the doors are off. It takes several minutes to put the windows back in (at least so far...). And the doors require effort, time and care to reinstall as well.
Could I do this every night? Probably. Will I/do I want to? No.
**UPDATE TO THE UPDATE** a few overall observations and some nitpicky things:
Overall: Driving this thing is friggin awesome!! To all of you who hate on "mall crawlers" I say, "Who cares?" I will take it offroad, but if I never did, it's worth every penny driving around town with the top...
Here's my carport...farm-style. Those eaves are like a bird hotel. It looks like a tarp or cockpit cover for me. Thanks for the actual and humorous responses.
Edit @TheJohnyBlue I forgot the quote:
I thought about this. Would it be easier than just raising the top? Would I scratch the paint putting on/taking off?
I hope someone else is the first guinea pig.
Using the word "mannequin" around people who are still waiting for their own Bronco might not be a good idea...
That said, would this work? I've had a fake snake up there for years to no avail.
Welcome to a thread where I am certain to get a ton of witty quips but *hopefully* some practical suggestions as well. I went to park the Bronco in our carport last night and had every intention of keeping the top down. But then my wife pointed out, "You know there are birds in there, right?"...
***UPDATE*** Here are pics after I got it home. First impressions below.
Impressions:
Color/appearance: I had started having cold feet after seeing my dealer's pics of the cactus gray. Looked almost baby blue. Would it be "mean" enough? The answer in person: OH YEAH! The stance is...
I know right! I'm hoping the ratio will thin out. I chose CG over A51 because I thought it would be less popular...
Now with every color I see on here I think, "Maybe I should have gotten that color..."
