A little late on this thread, the factory wheels I have no problem with but the factory tires yuck. The day I bought my bronco it was snowing, when leaving the dealership lot, had to put it into 4 wheel dr. to get out and on to the street. First mod, new tires.

For safari mode I just took a poly tarp, cut it and duct taped to where it covers the top, sides and back. I use bungy cords that are fabric covered with plastic hooks to hold it in place. I use this to keep bugs and any bird that want's to roost in it over night at home or when I'm out camping...

Me and my grandson took the bronco up in the snow, didn't get too far as the snow had been rained on and that stuff was miserable to drive on. Did get to try out my tire deflate-inflate diy setup, worked great. Using a napa duel cyl pump, boy that thing was fast. Fought with my usual issue...

One item missing from the list, loose oil filter. I caught that before it really made a mess. My niece on the other hand wasn't so lucky, 3mi. from the dealership oil and smoke coming out from under the hood. luckily motor wasn't hurt but what a mess. Have to add one more to the list, over...

Now if I can figure out how to get one of those superdutie radiators in the bronc I would have it made LOL.

I keep gauges on too with a scangauge ultra should have added both temps run in the 200 range normal highway driving. About the 189 t stat. I have a 2017 f150 3.5 ecoboost and work them too and you will see high temps too. One of the most common things with those trucks to do is a 180 t stat it...

Wasn't sure where to put this thread so put it here in the general topics. Most every bronco owner knows how hot the motor and trans. can get when working the bronco hard. From my own experience I've seen engine and trans. go high when slow trail running or in the snow. Summer trail running...

Thanks guys it's a big bend mid package 4 door rag top, i've had it for a little over A yr,. Had to buy it used as all the ford dealers around here wanted 10K over msp and I'm too cheep to give away money. Not getting carried away with big mods but did upgrade tires to MK 255/85/17 ,lift kit...
