Spent a boat load of money on my bronco today, new tires and wheels, new hood, fenders all the way around. New paint color, new interior, new body, frame and drive train. All that cost me about $60K and a new fender sticker that says bigbend sasquash 2025 LOL.
Pic just one, my 2 big driving lights bumper mounted. These are not a big name brand, they are nighlite 85 wt. each with a spot-flood combo pattern and they take off where the headlights stop. No light bars for me, had different bars in the past but dumped them for the 2 drivers. I do have pods...
They were locked, all 4 for wheels that is LOL. I was going up a road that sloped down hill covered in compact snow and ice. about 100yds up the road the wheels started to spin a little then the fun started. I stopped then eased down on the throttle, started sliding so hit the brakes but kept...
What's great ?? getting stuck 3 times, sliding back words and almost going over a bank. doing a 180dg. spin in the snow on a forest service road trying to go up hill. LOVE IT

I understand where your coming from and I'm an old school guy too. I'm not a fan of a lot of new gadgets and electronics on todays cars. I don't like digital speed odometers, electric parking brakes and having to learn forscan. I am a big fan of Kiss, keep it simple stupid. One can...
I have a 16in pusher fan on the front of my radiator that runs off a switch on my dash. Combined with the factory fans and ac on it keeps my bronco in 85+ temps. hill climbing that requires low range in the range of 195-205 deg.
I bought 4 used rims with no sensors then turned off the tpm with my flash Cal programmer, that didn't cost me a dime. I've been driving for 60 yrs first vehicle I had with tpm was A 2005 hardly ever paid any attention to it. For all you younger guys who don't know about this, there is a little...
The weight of most of the factory or aftermarket winch setups is one of the major reasons for my DIY winch. All of these winch setups either require the factory module bumper which is no lightweight or an aftermarket bumper which in most cases is the same weight or heaver than the factory one...
Those 2 bolts are 3/4" grade 8, not concerned about them braking or shearing off at all.
Hang my bronco with only those 2 bolts holding it?? Yep, no concerns at all but wouldn't try it, afraid those 4
small bolts which are not grade 8 holding the winch on the mounting plate might break but...
The only one I could find and it was used LOL. That was back when the only way to get a new one was order it, and I didn't want to go threw the waiting process.
Sure is fun doing these things, my wife used to ask me if I will ever stop modding things, my answer was Nooo
she finally gave up on me. Retired now but my back ground was mechanic and fabricator on heavy Equpment front end loaders forklifts etc. There was never an end to fixing, upgrading and...
You design looks similar to mine with the exception of mine being smaller and lighter. Mine is based off a piece of 2in. by 1/4in thick square tubing. No modular bumper just base one, what I wanted. The tubing is mounted to the 2 tow hooks by plates welded to it, held on by removable pins. The...
I have outstanding fog lights, they are NOT dot approved which is why they are so good LOL. Don't have a modular anymore, base one by choice, fogs mounted in the bumper slots and drivers on top of the bumper and too big for any factory bumper.
Sold it?? Darn I was thinking you need to bring it out here to Nth. Idaho then I would help you test the paint job and decals. Good roads here just have to push the brush out of the way to get threw. Then there is a place called Denver creek trail, we could have taken it up that trail, not mine...
