  1. Bronco Driving Experience AKA, mini off rodeo.

I attended one at the RAM Off-Road Park in Colorado Springs a week ago. It was short and technical, but if you had already spent ten hours at an off-roadeo event (like I did in Moab) you would be very comfortable driving it without guidance. The main difference was that they tried to fit people...
  2. I took a stock Outer Banks down Black Bear Pass

That ice is called "graupel," and it's very common at high altitudes here in Colorado. You can get graupeled on any month of the year. Looks like you had a good time up there! Ouray and Telluride are stunning areas no matter how you visit them. Enjoyed the video, especially since I have an...
  3. Number of Days Waiting for Bronco Calculator

Zager & Evans? That takes me wayyyyyy back.
  4. Decorating Journal for Ripley, my Cactus 2dr BB

That color combo looks fantastic. Very original!

    Bronco Gals

Wow, that looks really good. Nice job - very unique. I love it.
  6. Awesome First Edition Bronco for the Denver Broncos!!!

Broncy McBroncer Face. To make up for being cheated out of Rocky McRocker Face, even though that was the clear winning choice for what is now Memorial Rock.
  7. "One pedal" driving impressions.

What you're describing is exactly how the guides at the Moab Off-Roadeo instructed us to use Trail Control. I believe one-pedal driving is a bit different, but I have never used it. Actually, the owner's guide explains the differences. Start on page 207 (211 in the left pane, 207 on the page)...
  8. Antimatter Blue Thread

I have nothing to add here. I just visit this thread occasionally to satisfy my masochistic tendencies. ~former AMB reservation holder, bumped to MY22
  9. 2 Door Demo in Denver area

That's been my experience with most Colorado Ford dealerships, and I've spoken with a LOT of them (before going with Granger). I have been getting calls from Castle Rock Ford lately (that's what I get for surfing cars.com and cargurus.com), and the guy (John?) is actually very knowledgable. I...
  10. Moab Off-Roadeo 11/6/2021 - A Few Videos

Agree. The allocation disaster left me furious, frustrated, and ready to give up. Many of us are in that same boat right now and wondering if and when Ford (not the Ford social media marketing person who posts in this forum, but the Ford CxOs who make all the decisions) will do the right thing...
  11. Outer Banks Bronco Thread

Check out this thread: Happy medium? 275/70/r18 on OBX Seeing how well this turned out, I think a lot of people will be "Vigorizing" their OBXes.
  12. Happy medium? 275/70/r18 on OBX

So, 1" level no lift? This looks really good. Wish Ford offered that wheel/tire combo because it makes a HUGE difference in the OBX's appearance. I'm probably going the same route with my 2-door. As for the ponies and Bronco script badge: gotta go with chrome!
  13. Can you lock both differentials on a loose gravel road in 4H?

Last week in Moab, driving a Basesquatch, I was in 2H on the road, 4L on dirt and rock most of the day (engaging lockers as needed), and when I wanted to speed up, the guide instructed me to put in it 4H, then GOAT mode Sand, and turn off the rear locker (which turned on automatically in Sand...
  14. Bronco Off-Roadeo Photo Competition

Yup, they were all 2.7s! Feel free to steal the photo and tell people that was you driving. No one would ever know, and the photographer wouldn't mind. It is a great build.
  15. Paint the Outer Banks wheels all black?

Got it, and that's what I thought. Still, a great price. And within my OBX upgrade budget!
  16. Paint the Outer Banks wheels all black?

That doesn't include the cost of the tires, does it? Also, this looks fantastic. Definitely steeling your tire and wheel modifications (when I get my Bronco).
  17. Colorado Springs

I'll ping you next year when/if I get my Bronco. Waiting on a VIN and build date. There are a bunch of us waiting, and a dozen or so in the process of getting theirs right now.
  18. Bronco Off-Roadeo Photo Competition

Just one, from Moab a couple of days ago. My buddy took this shot of me descending the last obstacle in a 2-door VB Basesquatch. I like all the other photos...not sure which is my favorite. Will have to look again.
  19. Moab Off-Roadeo 11/6/2021 - A Few Videos

Thanks. Those guides sure earn their money! What a terrific group of guys. This was my first time on truly technical terrain, and they made me believe I could do it - and I did!
  20. Moab Off-Roadeo 11/6/2021 - A Few Videos

Yeah, I'm REALLY pleased with my choice of a 2-door in VB now. Not ready to flip to a Basesquatch quite yet but dayum is it sweet!
