No, it's more of a plot to reward dealerships charging the highest ADM, while screwing over the smaller dealerships that worked hard to get reservations. Not to mention pissing off thousands of would-be customers in the process.
I can't imagine the aftermarket is too happy about this either...
Nothing could possibly devalue the Ford brand more than what they themselves just pulled on their customers.

I don't need one either. My current car is paid for and it only has 10,000 miles on the engine. And I can always buy something else if I really want a 4x4. I hear Granger has a great deal on Jeeps right now.
This isn't about needing one. It's about the fact that I prepaid more than $700 for an...
Oh, the irony. When people were being overcharged for their reserved Broncos, Levine's advice was to agree to a price before choosing a dealership. A lot of us tried that, and only a handful of dealerships would even discuss pricing. So those were the ones we went with.
Now those same...
I doubt if many will switch. I'd rather wait a year and buy from Granger than reward a dealership that contributed to this fiasco by giving them my business. I believe a lot of folks feel the same way. Really, how far are people willing to bend over? For a Bronco, seriously?
No doubt, but it's better than no solution at all. If I have to wait another year, I may look at a Gladiator this year at 4% below invoice. I could probably still sell it for a decent price whenever my Bronco's ready. Will need to do the math...
The last thing I would do is give a big dealership my business, especially after this latest move by Ford, no doubt influenced by big dealerships. Once again, they've shown us how they win business. Essentially, by cheating. I wouldn't buy a scooter from one of those guys.
Thanks for the facts...
So, it says this:
TFR LT285/70R17 Mud-Terrain (M/T) Tires (33 in.) 653 695
Is this:
AVAILABLE ON ALL
MODELS UNLESS
OTHERWISE NOTED
So does that mean we can get this wheel and tire combo on a stock OBX, or one with Advanced 4x4/4.27 gearing?
The only thing worse than Ford f*cking over its customers is Ford dealers patronizing those customers with half-fast explanations of how Ford did the right thing and we're all just too stupid to understand. You want to know why people hate dealing with car dealerships? Look in the mirror.
Just got another email encouraging me to attend this event, which I paid for months ago. My response:
Given the latest allocation information, and now knowing that those of us with an early reservation may have to wait ANOTHER year for our Bronco, how can you still be pushing this? We may not...
I agree with everything you said, but I missed the part where customers "win." Which customers are winning here? The ones who didn't make a reservation and are now willing to pay $5-$50K ADM to get a MY21 or 22? Are those the "winners?"
It is starting to feel like a scam.
Especially for people who reserved a 2-door within 24 hours of the reservation system opening thinking they'd actually get a 2021 Bronco.
And people who chose a Rapid Red or Antimatter Blue Bronco thinking they'd actually get one.
Then there are the people...
