That depends on the characteristics of the speaker. Speaker/tweeter/sub was best for me. I put in Mabett pods and 6.5” Polk audios. You’ll need to experiment. If and when you add an amp to drive the other 6 speakers, you’ll have to go through the setup again

Certainly the cheapest fix…until you start chasing the “perfect sound” fairy.

A multi-meter will answer the obvious question…is the power source to the amp live? If it is, that means the Forscan setting did it’s thing. Bad amp is certainly a possibility. The multimeter will also let you determine if a signal is going from the amp to the sub.

I'm going to assume it was the sub. On the 2 ohm, I found at high volumes the sound coming out of the sub got very distorted. The level of distortion I was hearing I believe was "blow quality." If it's the amp that blew, above my paygrade. That's more in @RagnarKon 's wheelhouse.

The screws that the fake sub was screwed in with. I can’t say whether or not that is the correct or recommended way, but it worked.

I screwed it directly into the enclosure. I put some neoprene stripping with adhesive backing between the speaker and the enclosure to dampen any potential vibration and/or rattles. So far it’s been perfect.

Don’t forget cloth tape for the base of the pin. It’s a tad wider than the rest of the pin and pushing the rubber that far down was a challenge.
