Another thought in the back of my mind. Seems like these '21's are being cobbled together just to get them out the door. I'd rather let the problems be figured out.
I talked with my dealer and the estimate may come with a VIN in which you can't change it to a '22. if you 99 you're '21 order, you get price lock for '22.
Well if I lived in FL, I definitely wouldn't care. Come November in the northeast, its cold and grey for 5 months. Just not fun to have it sit outside in the cold and not be able to take the top off.
That's a risk I'm taking but I don't think there will be many early time stamps for them to have to deal with in '22. Also the price lock seemed like a good deal since I'm sure with the demand Ford will jack the price next year.
After all the delays and uncertainty, I figured I'd just wait until the '22s and be one of the first in line. The biggest concern is that by the end of May, Ford actually comes out with everyone's VIN and expected build date for '21. Then you are stuck with the timing and can't 99 it until next...
I reserved as well. Figured it's basically a free call option on the "front of the line" if I want it. At this rate, maybe I'll take delivery of the Lightning before my 7/13 res Bronco.
I love how when the whole priority thing came up people were like, what's the big deal it's only 3000 Broncos. Now that's like the first 3 months of production.
Got the same thing. How clueless can they be? Wonder if they have noticed a big drop-off in new interest therefore needing this email to keep interest levels up.
