Besides the Mod top people getting screwed another year, I see this move by Ford only as a way to crank out a ton of basic bitch 4 door soft top builds that they can throw on the lot and move. Ford was stuck between a rock and a hard place with the ability to build way more Broncos with soft...
“We now have to produce more soft tops than planned and we won't be able to solely produce customer orders, as hoped.”
So basically they are going to crank out 50k soft top 4 doors and give them to the dealers to sell before reservation holders get their hardtops. And 2 door people are just...

Our time stamp carries over. I also asked about '21 orders that get pushed to '22 due to production delays. He said every order that gets pushed to '22 (whether it was 99'd or delayed) gets reentered as a '22 order to update for colors/options/etc and then the original time stamp gets used for...
Talked to my dealer this morning and what he has heard is that in August the '22 build and price will go live and in September they can start entering '22 orders. First '22s should be built by end of year (in theory).
Just an Extend and Pretend. They know they are screwed with '21 production and are just slowly letting everyone down by being vague with when any sort of real production will start.
Sold 1/3 of my position this morning too. Stock is way too overbought and hyped on the electric f150. Wait until wall street realizes how poor they are at delivering (pun intended).
