It didn’t. If you go to the Ford site and add Sas to a badlands right now, it’s $4090 because it adds the 10 speed trans.
That's why it's incorrect. In '22, it doesn't add the 10sp auto anymore but shows the pricing like it does.
you're right. It was just part of Badlands. wonder how price match works. They barely raise price of the badlands but drop the mod bumper. So adding that which would have been included before, is now a new separate option that obviously you wouldn't have included when ordered. Sounds like a...
1. You say "about" 10, but only list 5
2. You claim "less than 1000 members received their builds" How do yo know this? How many just don't come back on and post that they did to tell everyone?
3. You randomly "guess" maybe half report problems. I would guess if you are on the forum 100% would...
I would think at this point Webasto has pretty much shit the bed as far as their contractual obligations go and it wouldn't be hard for Ford legally to say go F- yourself and offer a softtop at this point. Webasto can't produce a viable product. The comment about the Bestop not being high enough...
I always wondered if it was a regulation approval thing or crash test thing that they don't want to (or have the time to) go through the process of doing for a factory approved configuration. It just makes no sense that they have them running around with soft tops but they won't sell them with it.
I can "un" 99 my order whenever and it goes into the mix as a viable order. It states your reservation timestamp will remain with their order scheduling priority in 22MY. So when the 22MY options/colors opens up, I'll update my order and un 99 it. When 22MY goes into production it will be based...
Wonder if they are going to announce there is a new hard top manufacturer. FE and already produced are the only remaining '21's sold with hardtops. It will take time to ramp new manufacturer so Jan '22 will be first scheduling for any new hardtops.
Why would anybody with an early reservation and no build date not 99'd their order? I'd want nothing to do with anything going on surrounding the Bronco's being built right now. Let the dust settle (literally) and get a '22 when Ford is back on the right path.
I'm not putting much weight into this "leak" although if it is true, I bet there are going to be "late availability" colors to once again try and get some volunteers to delay their Bronco.
