I'm sensing maybe a current union negotiation going on for a 3rd shift in the 4th quarter. So the fact that it was reported as being a fact is false but maybe current discussions are ongoing....
Thinking the same thing. And because there's no manual Sasquatch, I'm guessing a manual Badlands with 35's will get 11mpg city and 15mpg highway in reality.
For all the time and money they spent getting these events put together so well, they sure did screw up the production aspect. Maybe they should have focused a little more on what actually counts.
So here's my latest thought/dilemma. What happens if say a 7/13 holder has a '21 order that gets bumped into '22 versus the same reservation holder 99ing their order now and waiting until '22 order banks open to place order. Does the person who had the '21 order get priority over the person who...
Exactly where I am. I really don't want it in Nov/Dec so why not wait until spring and get a '22 manual badlands Sasq with a 7/13 time stamp to make it one of the first.
They just waited until the 11th hour to realize it "has" to be fixed (no it doesn't, it was better looking before) and then make it a commodity constraint preventing people from getting their order build. That is the most ridiculous epic fail of the whole thing and so simple. Meanwhile every...
7/13, 10pm resi holder of a Badlands 2dr manual lux tow. Thought I'd be driving it by end of July, then Sep, now maybe Nov. At this point, which I never thought I'd consider, I'm about to 99 my order and just wait and get a '22 manual Sasquatch like I originally thought they'd offer (fords first...
Feeling right there with you. As a first night reservation, I never imagined that night's shitshow of reserving would be a foreshadow for the year ahead. And it's so far beyond covid to blame at this point. First time Ford purchaser and now I know why.
As I said in another thread, Ford will get out a few hundred builds by August so they can claim deliveries started in the "summer". Most early reservations won't be in our garages until Oct/Nov.
I know the priority builds aren't much and that wasn't the point. I just think production will ramp slower than most think as they try to get it right. Add in all the commodity constraints and I just think deliveries for most early reservation holders, many with a lot of sins, will be later than...
Who the fuck said they needed consent of the forum to do anything? People come here looking for advice and ideas but nobody is acting like they need consent from the forum. Everyone obviously knows they can do what they want and are obviously doing it. You're acting like we need your consent to...
"Also, if you are having doubts on sticking this through, no need to get anyone involved, just drop out and call it a day."
The whole message just sounds authoritarian and bizarre but ok.
