To my admittedly amateur understanding, any upgrade to 35's (which I want as well) will require a lift of some sort to accommodate them.

You and I are on the exact same page with our choices. I may add the mid package if it's less than $1200 and I will definitely upgrade the wheels and possibly get 33's if they offer from factory. Wanting to keep this BD build below 42K

In another thread where they've figured out a lot of the build html codes and have configurator pics, someone found this wheel. I'm extremely hopeful it's the 17 inch Black High Gloss Aluminum Wheel option noted for the BD. I absolutely LOVE this wheel.

The washout capability is my primary reason for getting a Black Diamond. Much moreso than the off roading updgrades.

100% agree Although the 4 door has a little older Land Rover discovery/defenderish look. Sport looks Discovery/LR3 ish. Wonder if design cues were taken when Ford owned Land Rover some years ago.
