@CarbonSteel RCI makes quality parts. I have their full skids and rails already mounted. The bracket itself is pretty stout. It appears to sit on top of the a-arm to secure the upper part of the skids. install link…...

Not yet installed, but I got a set of the aluminum A arm skids from RCI. Picked them up while they were still on holiday sale. I liked how they protect the shock bolts…

Picked my Bronco up today after having the full Dobinsons IMS suspension installed. This includes the IMS shocks and the heaviest springs they offer to better support the 450 lbs of bumper/winch, full steel skids, and frame mounted rails. Which engine and trans? Getting adjustable coils installed today. Hopefully the shop saves the weights for me. Otherwise I'll run it across the truck scale at the office.

There is more to it than spring rate… For example, Fox uses a 365lb spring up front while King uses a 550lb spring. My Bronco is at the shop getting the full Dobinsons install (Dobinsons IMS shocks and springs). I’m hoping to report a better ride than what you’ve experienced with springs only.

Thats too bad. You make an excellent front bumper and I was hoping for a good match with the same finish. Market seems to go one of two ways… silly expensive or just cheap.

Have you checked out the Dobinsons height adjustable IMS shock? That would likely get you back in range.

The springs fit the stock Bilstein shocks, but that doesn’t mean it’s ideal. That’s a two inch spring lift on the stock length shocks. The Bilsteins are designed to ride in a certain range. They’re probably topped out and have no droop.

Any progress on the powder coat and install? I pulled the trigger on a Dobinsons setup with the 566 front and 569 rear springs (V6 4dr). Install scheduled for next week….

The factory extended zero offset bumper is still too short if you’re running a tailgate reinforcement plate.

Looks like a lot of gap on the drivers side. Just look at all the exposed weatherstripping. Not acceptable in my book.

Another vote for BAMF. Great finish, fairly low profile, and built like a tank in the USA.

@TEAMSLO 10-15 minutes per side?? Any tips on how you got it done so quickly? Passenger side seems particularly involved with the fuel tank needing to be dropped/lowered. My 4door rails took 12+ weeks for delivery. Still boxed in my garage waiting for time to install.
