I think you installed the plates in the wrong order. Start from the back and work towards the front. The lip between plates should be towards the rear so you don't snag driving forward. You should only have to remove the front keyhole section for an oil change.

1st post here…. Very excited about my new to me 2022 Bronco Wildtrack. Picked up at the dealer w 10k miles (CPO). No options other than graphics and hardtop. I already installed a hitch receiver for the bike rack and waiting for some GoRhino RB20 running boards. More mods to come…
