Haha, I know the feeling 😂 for whatever it's worth, I spent a little more time googling after posting my question. I found some extremely similar looking 16x7 wheels for the ranger which have a 55 offset. Pretty sure they're the same 👍
I'm eyeballing the Grabber AT/X in LT265/75R16 for my base, that'll get my up to 31-32 I think. Looks to be compatible with the 7" wheel width, at least. I briefly tried looking up the base wheel offset info to gauge whether I'd have a rubbing issue - I see above you mention it matches the BB...
Cool, that's one heck of a courtesy vehicle. Just saw my first one in Pullman, WA yesterday ripping around on the streets. Was a 4dr a51 soft top something, with the premium lights. Hoping it's one of the dealers and I can try it out next week 😬
I'm not so much a fan of the swing out tire on my 96 and it's slightly annoying that I absolutely MUST roll down the window to open the tailgate... but those are pretty minor inconveniences. I love having the roll down rear window and the tailgate is pretty handy for all sorts of reasons. 10/10...
I think these are way cool. Looking at their site, I wish these were around back when I had my FJ. I'ma consider picking these up once I have a vague build date! @fifteen52 is that promo code going to be good for a while yet, or just while you're still running the pre-order? 😬
Seriously. I just picked up a '96 Bronco with a 5.0 and the thing still runs like a top after a quarter of a century! Bet a lot 'of those clunkers had a lot of life left in 'em.
For real! That's what I'm looking for, too. I think there's still going to be a little bump in prices for those just based on the crazy market, but I really think we'll be able to make it out ahead overall. I had an old Explorer with a stick, I would love to find another one. I'm on the look out...
...and now I don't have a car. I don't really need one during the Summer, so I figure, hey, why not make hay while the sun shines, right? Used car values have gone up about 20% in my state, which was a good chunk of change added onto the would-be trade on my 2018 outback 3.6r touring. I figure...
I went from 4 to 2.85 through lenderfi on a 30 year around November of '20. They had surprisingly low fees, most of what I had to put down was for escrow. Not mad about it so far :) seemed like it was worth it 🤷♀️
Damn, I wonder how long this upward trend in trade values is going to continue...! I'm def open to turning in my Subi a little early and rolling around in some old beater for a few months if it means a couple grand.
Carvana is offering me 28k for my '18 3.6R outback (edit: damn, carmax beat...
I am not in your boat as I will be in a Bronco which is not a boat.
Really though, I'm with you on the doors. I'd be with you on the screen, too, if that were all the difference in stepping up to it. That 360 cam feature is way freaking cool, I'd be tempted to get the upgrade just for that if...
If it's summer I'm going to throw on a canvas Bimini top and keep running it until someone robs me. That may take several seasons over here.
If it's winter, some decent rubber for snow/ice.
Maybe some mud flappys if y'all first year testers find some abrasion problems from throwing up the...
