  1. Off-road YouTube channels?

Farah does some stuff on his channel The Smoking Tire, worth checking out for sure. He's mainly performance cars but off-road he's got everything from vintage safari Porsches to modern Raptors.
  2. What is the price increase for MY22?

How can you possibly expect anyone to answer this with any level of intelligence? There's literally no way to know.
  3. So I decided to wait and buy a MY22......

I am fairly certain that when in doubt reservation timestamp rules the day. It would trump an earlier conversion which is in essence what you are describing.
  4. What's your distraction for the next year?

Looking at a new 3-Series for GF and an old W124 Benz for myself to tinker with. Otherwise no major car investments planned until the Bronco arrives.
  5. How long will you keep your Bronco?

Nephew just turning 6, little gearhead. Told him he can have the Bronco when he gets his license so that would be 10 years of ownership for me. Probably 75K on it when he gets it.
  6. Aux Switch Uses - Ideas??

Exterior lights for sure. Then on the off chance I can stand driving the thing north of 75mph on the highway I’d also do my usual radar / laser setup.
  7. Anyone make white steel wheels that look like the BD ones?

To be fair that's not a steel wheel, although it looks like one.
  8. B&O stereo

That's funny, I am adding the Bronco to a garage full of luxury cars and I specifically do NOT want anything too fancy. My ONLY must-have creature comfort is keyless entry and start, GF digging through purse for a key isn't a headache I want to deal with.
  9. Anyone make white steel wheels that look like the BD ones?

No, it' more annoying than anything else. If you want to keep driving the car, since you've got a full size spare you'd just do one at a time. That said for a steel wheel the economics may not make a hell of a lot of sense, if someone makes white ones that's probably a better idea... they may...
  10. Anyone make white steel wheels that look like the BD ones?

Getting them coated should run you about $100 ea...
  11. B&O stereo

The architecture of the system in your 3-series made doing that easy, not least of which was a standalone amp. I have a number of BMWs where I've swapped all the speakers, the amps, and then added more amps and dedicated subs. The caveat here is this... if the base system does not have a...
  12. 2021 Bronco 3D Model on Sketchup (FREE)

Any word on a Lego Bronco???
  13. Bummed, 7/15 reservations

I am 7/16 too. I was originally trying to game the system so I wouldn't be first and could get a 2021 around Thanksgiving. Now I'm waiting for a 2022 for a number of reasons.
  14. Bronco at highway speeds?

That's very helpful, thank you. I suspected as much. I have 2 BMW convertibles (2006 and 2016) and it's remarkable how calm the cabin can be even at silly speeds if you have the windows up and wind deflector installed. Figured Bronco would be top on except at beach or putting around town at 25...
  15. My order is officially in ! Here is my build !

Maybe the BMW ones are especially bad. GF is a realtor and drives a LOT so I always buy CPO for her w/ like 15K miles just so I don't have to eat those first 18-24 mos of hard depreciation. Some of them have come w/ locks already installed and every time I end up paying the dealer a few hundred...
  16. Bronco at highway speeds?

Not sure if any Jeep guys can weigh in, but if I were to remove just the front section of the roof and leave the rear attached - kind of like a Targa I suppose - would the wind and noise in the cabin be bearable at some reasonable speed e.g. 70 mph? Top completely off around town is fine, but...
  17. My order is officially in ! Here is my build !

Have you used wheel locks in the past, or are you in an area prone to crime that you may need them? I've always found them to be a nightmare and much more trouble than they are worth, the special keys always break, etc. Otherwise looks good have fun with it!
  18. Confused by some of the hate on the lease option. Seems wise for those wanting Low Down and Lower Monthly Payments

Just to be clear for leasing-newbies... you are referring to a cap cost reduction that is a big no-no. However MSDs (multiple security deposits) are up front money that you contractually get back at the end and they buy down your interest rate. Those are usually VERY good to do if you can tie up...
  19. Confused by some of the hate on the lease option. Seems wise for those wanting Low Down and Lower Monthly Payments

No problem whatsoever... this is far from a perfect form of communication. Cars by in large are NOT good financial decisions, it's really about making the least bad decision if that makes any sense. It's also important to be a bit flexible when leasing e.g. if you absolutely must have a specific...
  20. Deadline to switch dealers?

The only other "deadline" is that some dealers have been converting reservations to orders before checking with customers. I believe the practice has been stopped, but if you fall victim to that then switching becomes much more difficult. So if you know you want to switch and whom you want to...
