Yep. My only point in any of this was that the dealer isn't ALWAYS a ripoff or doing crap work. Good dealer service departments, if you can find them, are worth their weight in gold. Just makes everything so easy and you never need to worry about your warranty.

Sorry for the confusion. I thought they start MAKING 2022 cars in Dec 21 then delivering them late Jan / early Feb. So instead of running full Sept 21 to Aug 22 if would just be Jan / Feb to Aug so I guess more like 7 months in total 2022 cars will be delivered. Unless I’m very confused.

For my current cars having it done at the dealer is around $100. Getting the supplies to do it myself with shipping only saves me ~$25. For that it’s not worth the headache.

That's awesome. The James Bond Aston has an ejector seat, guns, working doors / hood /trunk. Must be more complicated to accomplish that vs. Bronco with some pop off roof pieces and still have it look like a real car.
