OP - How'd the AMB look with the MIC top in person? Nice complimentary color or clash? I cannot tell from pics, would take your word for it. Realize this has the soft top but maybe the plastic bits on the doors or mirrors would give you a hint.
I've decided everything on my build except color...
Warranty friendly for me as well, don't want ANY headaches with this vehicle. Tune and CAI to start, maybe exhaust but unlikely. Probably stop there for performance. Set of winter wheels and tires. The some odds and ends, ProClip phone mount, Blendmount and MirrorTap for radar detector, etc...
Just like anything there's a wide range of product quality within the ceramic world, and some are easier to apply than others. For the Bronco I'm going to use a spray on / hose off product. It's not the best but it's the easiest. I cannot recall the brand name think it was developed for...
I’ve decided every option and most aftermarket parts I need... but cannot decide on a damn color!!! I’m pretty certain I don’t love any of them, every car I’ve ever bought including some that I ordered I knew exactly what color I wanted without a doubt.
Could be. Reminds me of a Daniel Ricciardo interview where they asked him about race strategy and he said “lots of the pedal on the right, less of the one on the left”
Maybe he shoots his videos without taking a snack break? Dunno - not bashing the kid the videos are a lot of fun... blame my English teacher mother just struck me as a very odd choice.
As excited as I am about the Bronco, if a new FJ arrives in the next 12 months I'd have to seriously consider it. I don't need anything fancy and Toyota reliability in my bad weather / go anywhere / keep it forever and beat the snot out of it vehicle would be very appealing.
Tom - what's your understanding on life after 3/19? Anything done after that wouldn't make it into the first quarter of production but then what? Convert and someone can jump in line if they convert and have an earlier reservation time stamp until a VIN is assigned, then you get built no matter...
If you don't get it done at the dealer Shades of Gray does excellent work and they are in the general direction of the city if leaving the Chapman. I usually wait with my cars and it's about an hour.
I like it quite a bit, but for a VERY odd reason. Reminds me of an old 300E my father had when I was a kid. Not his car but this is the same green, would love to get something this color someday.
