One downside to this is you cannot use Escort radar detector, dashcam and laser jammer all at the same time. If you want laser and radar the camera will not work. MirrorTap is a very easy way to power if you don't need parking mode.

The tint shop typically uses a heat gun to dry the edge of a window that moves like that, they deal with it all the time it's not a major concern.

OP... you have any idea if the regular stereo has a separate amp? Same question for B&O as well but assume there the answer is "yes." If base system has the amp integrated into the head unit upgrading becomes a much more complicated (read expensive) proposition.
