How about that steel enclosure/ shelf for the cargo area of the 4 door? Previously shown on that "overland concept" or whatever it was called. Wouldn't be quickly accessible but I think the notion was with the rear hatch door closed and locked its somewhat secure. That was my understanding anyway.

Various improvements so far haven't resulted in an official higher tow rating from Ford. But there is a general notion that weight distributing hitches, better shocks, trailer brake controllers, possibly air bags or sumo springs, or possibly better sway bars will make towing more stable.

I guess everyone sees thing differently. To me, the 4 door looks best, the 32" tires are enough, the 2 door looks like a kids toy.

I imagine the 2 door 2.7 smallest size tires would be the quickest. The sasquatch size tires will probably make a Bronco corner and brake a bit worse also, that's the tradeoff for the larger size tires.

Why should Ford offer the same options as a similarly priced vehicle when thousands of people are PAYING to make a reservation on a vehicle they haven't even seen in person yet? The marketing BS might have worked and makes Ford many millions of extra dollars.

I currently live in a pretty nice part of San Jose, all single family homes. Someone just broke into both the swing cases in the bed. Nothing too valuable was stolen, but still annoying. I think they jammed a screwdriver into the locks and forced them around.

2021 GMC Acadia At4, tows 4k lbs, 26 mpg hwy, 6.1 0 to 60, 130mph top end. Of course not anywhere close to a Bronco off road, but would probably be much better than a Bronco on road, where all of us spend 99% of our driving.
