Still in Built/Awaiting Shipment mode. In the meantime, been following the discussions regarding the return of the HVAC knobs with digital temperature readout for MY23. Now Iām wondering, did any of the final MY22ās get the new HVAC knobs?
For those of your from our build week that have...
For reference, I was blend date on 11/16.
Went to In Production (and chip hold) on 11/18.
Released from chip hold and switched to Built and Awaiting Shipment on 11/29. ETA delivered to SC is 12/15 to 12/21. Holding steady there ever since. Been checking with Ford Chat daily, but no change...
Sooooo . . .
Blend date was 11/16. Was just chatting it up with Ford Chat and was told:
I see that your Bronco is In Production at the Ford Michigan Assembly Plant. The most recent update as of Nov-17-2022 reflects an estimated delivery window of Dec-05-2022 to Dec-11-2022 with an ETA...
Iām in upstate SC.
Blend date 11/16
Modules popped 11/17
Tear tag 11/18
Tracker still shows in production currently, but on 11/18, Ford chat said estimated delivery is 12/11.
Fingers crossed, we shall see . . .
Looking like Iām another ālast ofā. My WS says 802/803 for Nov 16, so am I the next to last Bronco built that day? Sure hope everyone is in a good mood and still on their A-game when itās time to put mine together . . .
Good deal. Interesting that you knew last week. Chat on Wednesday told me Unscheduled - Clean. So I was totally expecting the heads-up email on transition to 2023.
I know this is grabbing at straws to build up false hope . . . but for those of you that have build dates, what day of the week did you receive your email confirmation?
Same here! Have they told you how many orders are ahead of us? Havenāt been able to get that out of them. I was told maybe 40 when I asked back in January, but not sure how accurate that really was.
Thought it might be beneficial to start a thread on OBX order status for those interested.
Iām a 1/22/2021 walk-in order with a small dealer in upstate SC.
My build: OBX 4-door, 2.7, MIC, Tow, High, Locking Diff, Carb Gray
Status: Still āOrder Processingā with no movement.
Ok, just so I understand . . .
Ford is sending gifts to those that have already taken delivery and paid for their Broncos? Right? (i.e. Sold, confirmed customers).
But those that have placed orders and have yet to have a clue when weāll receive our Broncos (i.e. Potential customers that can...
Palmetto Ford in Charleston, SC had a new Wildtrak available recently. No aftermarket add-ons from what I could tell. But the window sticker had an additional line item that simply said, āAccessories . . . $20,000.ā Itās gone now, so I guess someone took that action.
Iām from Greenville, but have been in IoP this week for vacation. Back home, I see maybe one Bronco a week if Iām lucky. Down here, though, Iām seeing two or three a day when weāre out and about. So far theyāve mainly been Base, Big Bend and Outer Banks. And all non-Squatch, interestingly...
Congrats on that! Iāve read of similar, magical stunt trickery with the tow package delete. Iāll let you know if Iām as fortunate. I still have 2.7, MIC and the mod front bumper in my order, so Iām not out of the woods just yet . . .
I dropped the Tow, thinking Iāll add the Curt hitch receiver myself sometime down the road. The only thing I ever pull is a single Seadoo or else mount a hitch bike rack. So 7 pin connector isnāt an issue.
10-4 on waiting being a PITA . . . and Iām only six months into this. Canāt imagine...
