  1. My other [more reliable?] Bronco is a 4Runner

Love that color on your raptor!
  2. My other [more reliable?] Bronco is a 4Runner

My guy…it wasn’t a failing caliper. Wasn’t an ABS sensor. It was a failing ABS module, which is a whole different thing and the reason why the caliper was determined (correctly) to be operating properly. I meticulously maintain my vehicles and your assumption about that is baseless. Also, if...
  3. My other [more reliable?] Bronco is a 4Runner

It needed brakes (not breaks) - pads and rotors - at 65k miles. Not too unusual at that mileage. But within 200 miles after replacing them, the ABS module failed and the front passenger side caliper froze at freeway speeds. By the time my wife got it slowed down and off the freeway, the...
  4. My other [more reliable?] Bronco is a 4Runner

I mean. We’ve had worst fleets in our driveway…
  5. My other [more reliable?] Bronco is a 4Runner

Like I said. My wife’s vehicle. I still have my bronco.
  6. My other [more reliable?] Bronco is a 4Runner

I bought a Bronco thinking I’d drive it for decades until the wheels fall off. Didn’t know at the time I would need less time than that for the same outcome. But as many of us here know, the 6G Bronco comes 95% built from the factory, and it’s only through TSBs and recalls that we get to about...
  7. Is this Rust? 2023 Bronco Wildtrak

That’s what I thought had happened to mine (which look the same as the OP’s photo). This thread is making me second guess that. Still unclear to me if this is a problem or just an unsightly byproduct of the manufacture/assembly process.
  8. Did you own a Jeep before Bronco?

ā€˜97 TJ. Gave up looking for a decent old Bronco II so I bought this in 2017 and drove it for a couple years. It had 25k-ish miles on it when I sold it. You don’t find them that clean. But with two kids and an anxious wife, it felt a little gnarly ripping down the freeway in this thing. Never...
  9. Trip report: Southern Colorado

Did you use your rear locker at any point?
  10. Cars honking behind you

Nothing wrong with a well-timed brake check.
  11. How Do I Clean Up After Safelite?

This is smart. After a couple unfortunate incidents that required significant body/interior trim work, I can tell you it will never be the same. We can complain all we want about build quality from the factory (there are legitimate complaints to be made), but the quality of service/precision you...
  12. Bronco

🤫 Again, glad you’re ok. And no judgement here.
  13. Bronco

Sorry for your luck. I know from on-road incidents that it’s never fun to learn how insanely expensive replacement parts are for these rigs. And of course, glad you’re safe. Must’ve been like riding a mechanical bull, blindfolded. Was surprised to see the ā€œsending itā€ necessary to take the line...
  14. How long until this open hole causes my Bronco to rust out????

https://www.hendersonbrorustproofing.com/ No. But I assume reputable places like this exist in most parts of the rust belt. To be clear, you get your truck back and it’s a mess. Dripping out of every body gap, seam, around lights, etc. cleanup is easy with WD40 and after a summer of dusty roads...
  15. How long until this open hole causes my Bronco to rust out????

This is why I had mine undercoated (film-based, not hardening) by a reputable vendor in the area that does touch ups every two years for the life of the vehicle. They spray the inside of everything. If it has a hole, they spray it. 🤣 Even the hood and other aluminum parts were coated.
  16. Five (5) reasons to get 2-door Bronco (per Forbes)

Cargo area is packed to the roof, but here’s proof a 2 door can haul a family of four and their gear for a road trip Detroit>Seattle>Detroit via 11 national parks.
  17. National Park Service Will Cite Drivers of AWD Cars For Driving on 4WD-Only Trails

This. 1,000,000 times. I recently saw an ad for the new Hyundai Santa Fe. almost made it seem like they had a Land Rover of sorts on their hands. Then I saw one in person the other day. Minivan.
  18. Bestop wants to hear from YOU! What features would you like to see on our 6th gen products?

Really happy to see so many comments here requesting a square back (non-fastback) soft top for the 2 door. Tan/spice color would be even better! Whenever the factory MIC top gives up, I hope Bestop will have a solution that checks these boxes, ready to go!
  19. Did I Make A Mistake?

šŸ‘† this. It’s incredible how planted the bronco feels in 2WD with TCS on. I was concerned I’d regret not having it on my non-Sas Base. My ā€˜97 Wrangler and ā€˜02 Ranger would fishtail in 2WD if you did anything more than feather the gas, but I got used to it. With the TCS on, the Bronco almost makes...
  20. Did I Make A Mistake?

I actually find it’s more reliable to search on Google for the topic and just add ā€œbronco6gā€ to the search phrase.
