Word down the pipe today is that the actual hard top is going to be in short supply in the first year. I didn't ask why, but that wasn't news we wanted to hear.
Don't know. Probably that they'll be receiving one when more allocation becomes available. And then tell them a Q1, Q2 into 2022 possibly.
But your scenario is going to happen. We already know that.
In this case, we were told that after the window for converted orders were closed, we'd be given our total allocation number. That's all I know. I don't know how it will be from month to month after that.
No, absolutely not. It stays with that dealer, in the order bank, and is filled whenever allocation comes available. Could be a different model year, or could just be a while. It never is lost.
Great post @Zach@Granger .
I will say, if a dealer was smart, they'd know how to convert 100% of their reservations. I think I'll be really close to that. I know the penalty% too and feel good about the few defectors I can't.
Yes, all 2021 Broncos produced will be used to fill orders. Will every dealer get 50% of their converted orders? No, they won't and it won't be close in some cases.
Is that what you want to hear?
I don't think it has any relevance because I've made no offers and have no business dealings(to my knowledge) with anyone here. Not like everyone can tell every single member's real identity behind their forum ID either. And from what I can tell by the vindictive nature and hate on this forum...
Man, I don't know you from Adam. If I could post the email the Ford Regional manager sent us yesterday, I would. Then I think you'd believe some of what I say. I'm simply hoping people have realistic expectations and based on things I read here, they don't.
I don't care about any dealers on...
I didn't start the rumor. Ford told us that in an email just this week.
May be able to cover them eventually. Eventually being the key word. I'm not upset with anyone or any dealer. Why would I be?
I don't care how many reservations someone has. I actually think it is important for dealers to post their allocation numbers, so their customers know what kind of time frame to expect on getting a Bronco. Why is that so bad?
If Ford came straight out and told me today, hey you're not going...
