So today is my build day. I've been joking about my Bronco's "birthday" and came down to this.
Here's to all of you soon getting to celebrate Build Day!
Sounds like a fight to the death is in order. We have to sort this out...
Gentllemen (or ladies, as the case may be), choose your weapons. Last one standing becomes the official advice-giver of this thread.
GO!
I'll try not to be offended; since I spend nearly every available moment on this forum, of course I know I don't have to wait!;)
I do, however, have to schedule around my life as a preacher, basketball coach and average-to-good father.
Thanks for the input everybody! We will look to stay in Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay or Kingsland areas. Can't wait to take my Bronco cross-country and be a part of the Off Rodeo!
You and the poster above you describe Austin as no Bueno and "for obvious reasons." As someone not familiar with Austin, what are these obvious reasons? I've lived in Memphis, so I know crime. I visit Nashville often, which is tame. I've stayed in Atlanta.
I'll certainly avoid it; you just...
I apologize in advance if I have missed this already discussed, but I perused the Off-Rodeo topics and didn't see anything. I will be bringing my 13-yo daughter with me to Austin, and we will be driving (our new Bronco, which should be delivered by then!!!!) from Tennessee. I have looked into...
I did not have this conversation until after I had ordered--maybe March after a January order. While I have no written agreement, the Bronco specialist I have dealt with exclusively said their policy is to never charge over MSRP on Special Order vehicles. He said even Shelby Mustangs, etc. all...
I'm in a similar boat except for two important differences: 1. I will only be three hours away. And 2. I will not be off the grid.
You better believe I've already told the family we are driving 6 hours round trip to pick it up!
I do both actually. Wife prefers "glamping" so we have an RV and a toad to go all over this great land of ours. But I also love backpacking, and my kids love it too. Not all camper users are posers.
EDIT: when you compare the two, I must say glamping is more tenable for me. I just can't get a...
Sandra Bullock in "Hope Floats" drives an early Bronco.
Edit: I searched this originally because I couldn't remember if Harry Conick Jr.'s character drove a Bronco or a Scout.
**AHEM** Self-respecting red-blooded American males should know nothing of such things. Therefore I will neither confirm nor deny that I already knew this fact.
Contact your dealer. I sent mine an email confirming that my date had not moved. They responded that they could see an actual build DAY--June 25th. My sticker became active Friday night or Saturday morning.
Misstep, cluster, etc. are certainly relative terms. The vast majority of customers have a fraction of the insight we do because of this forum. Therefore, few ride the rollercoaster of emotions we do. As far as the public is concerned, it will be, "Oh hey, cool, a new Bronco."
