They admitted it was on plant hold since the date it was declared built and released. It’s never been released like they told me 6 different times.
It’s on hold for 2 parts and has been the entire time.
That’s exactly what they are doing. They assigned assembly line workers volunteer to work over shutdown on Broncos waiting on chips and parts. The contract workers that have been working on completing them don’t have a shutdown. Hopefully the extra man power helps clear a good portion of the...
Technically, they are ignoring all of us. Every communication and update we get is generated by a bot. The humans we contact tell us the same information the the automated system generates.
I wish they didn’t email me 2 months ago informing me that my Bronco was going into production the week...
We jumped ahead of all of the chip holds that have been sitting for months. It’s how they do it. They allocate parts for active builds and parts for those waiting. It’s a lot more time consuming and difficult to finish the ones sitting in lots waiting on parts. They are hoping to clear a large...
If your Bronco was built the week of 06/06/2022 and it’s not here yet it’s most likely due to a part hold. It’s not a rail or convoy delay. Broncos are being shipped and delivered all of the country by rail and convoy daily - included many built after our Bronco’s.
Why? Ford insists on...
I wouldn’t pay a penny over MSRP for anything ever. That includes the Bronco. I think paying full MSRP on anything routinely sold at a discount like automobiles, appliances, furniture, jewelry, etc, isn’t very smart.
I never wanted anything bad enough to throw away extra money to get it.
My Bronco was built on 06/08/2022. I’m in my 5th estimated delivery window. My dealership is 20 miles from MAP. I contacted Ford Marketing 1-2 times per week the first 3 weeks. Each time they claimed it was built, no holds and released to shipping.
After the third week my salesman looked into...
8 months? I placed my order 13 months ago. Technically, they’ve only been building them since June of 2021. That’s when the actual waiting began.
When did you update your order to a Y22?
Yeah? 🤣 I’m a super busy person and that did not stop my anxiety. That wasn’t happening after they told me it was built and released.
I feel better now that I know what’s actually happening with my Bronco. I didn’t check it once today.
They consider it built when it rolls out of the plant - complete or not. It’s no longer on the line.
I’m just relieved that I know exactly what’s holding it up and can relax.
