The 2.3 is definitely not a slouch. If you're comparing both on premium fuel though, the 2.7 makes 330hp/415torque compared to 300hp/325torque on premium for the 2.3. Regular fuel. Still a minor HP difference really, but the torque difference is noticeable.

Great point about the doors, your pics really illustrate it as well. 6G still looks stubbier to my eye. A difficult optical illusion to achieve, considering the 6G actually has a slightly longer wheelbase and total length.

Found something similar in mine about a week after purchase. This one was tucked into the seatback pouch and was wireless. Also had to google to figure out what it was. Took it back to the dealer and left it on my salesman's desk.

Nicely done! I also went from Atlanta to Moab back in October; Canyonlands, and Arches. But I cheated, and took a plane, to Denver at least. It was also before I had my Bronco. We did a side by side trip through Hell's Revenge though, best part of the trip.
