Since it takes all of a half second to engage and disengage, why not just always use it? Even if you think, or "know" it's not needed; it certainly won't hurt, and might help a lot.
Welcome! Owned a 20, Gladiator Overland myself. You'll miss the flexibility of a bed, but you've probably noticed a bit more interior space (just a little), and much more power from the 2.7 compared to the Normally aspirated 3.6.
I did like my Gladiator though, never had a single problem...
Any way you slice it, a Ford is not likely to be as reliable as your Mazda. If you check out the forum, you'll see the types of issues that tend to pop up. While it is true that problems are always a bit out of proportion on sites like this, many have had real issues. Most of them do seem to...
Why is it that when a thread has a "No Politics" warning, that's exactly what some post first?
My heart goes out to the people of SoCal. I hope those of you that are in the area have managed to stay safe and preserve as much of your property as possible. Period.
I've purchased a bunch of Mabett products, and most are decent. All from Amazon though; Seat back covers, cargo mat, mudflaps, cargo sidewall protectors, and Fog lights. I didn't care much for the cargo mat, was just kinda cheaply made, but it didn't cost much either. Everything else has been...
Sorry had posted the below, but it doesn't seem that's really what you're looking for. Haven't seen an products to remove or cover the actual scratches. Will watch this thread for other's recommendations.

Thanks for Sharing, and nice write up! I'd wanted to check out one of these in TN, since it's one of the closer ones. I've got a 24 Wildtrak; does your vehicle serve as your voucher for entry to these events, or do you need other paperwork?
There are still issues with the 24's. I've had two. First 24 wildtrak I brought home had a shredded drive shaft boot, switched that out for another one, and it developed a leak on the output shaft of the transfer case at 5K miles, and a couple, minor rattles. Dealer did fix all of that in...
Sorry to hear this. Mine was in the shop for about two weeks due to a leak at the output shaft, on the transfer case. My dealer didn't want to give me a loaner initially either, claiming they were out. After a period of begging, pleading, and escalating, they "found" a loaner for me.
Dealer resolved the transfer case leak; output shaft seal. Somewhat surprisingly, they also seem to have resolved the two major rattles as well. #2 above (loose wiring harness somewhere), and #3; Rear window seal (just dry silicone lubricant stopped it).
Owned a 2020 Gladiator Overland. Really nice little truck. It needed a bit more power, and was a bit cramped on the inside for long drives, but those were the only real complaints. It actually rode really well (yes even with a solid front axle), had a very nice interior, and didn't have any...
