You need the Ford Performance tune as it includes the software update, the ProCal is just the installation device. That said, since I posted, others have chimed in with various schemes to defeat the issue, so maybe try those if you're willing to do some tinkering. But for the quick "just pay the...
So far, all of us who have done this and reported it on this forum, have ultimately resorted to buying the Ford ProCal tune to reprogram the Bronco to not look for it. One guy left his FAD plugged in to the harness and zip-tied to the frame for a while but eventually did the Ford Tune. As far as...
Who'd have thunk that a pic of you enjoying your Bronco with a loved one would be such a tall order (not calling out RedDawg, he at least got it half right LOL). We'll give a it another day or two to marinate I suppose.
Hey guys! Yeah I don't usually check in here on weekends, and this was a long one so, sorry for the delay :) Anyhow thanks @BAUS67 for the nod. So...what to do next? These are getting harder to come up with but how about this. I like putting faces to names and also seeing folks enjoying their...
I flat tow quite a bit. I have the part time case in my '21 Base. Never any problems other than occasionally forgetting that the parking brake was engaged LOL.
I'm pretty sure you'd need to do some cutting and pasting on the skid, depending on which skid you're running. FWIW, I went with the Broken Innovations diff drop designed by our fellow Bronco6G member @TeocaliMG. It costs a little more but it seems like a more complete kit than what is shown in...
Yeah it's a very nice bumper I think. It's high clearance with good angles and tucks the winch in nicely. I'm not sure why it's never really caught on with the masses. Maybe because it doesn't have built-in light mounts, and we all know how much everyone loves having a bunch of lights LOL.
I have one on my shelf at home waiting to get installed. Not sure if that counts LOL. I've been running the ICON non-winch bumper for a few years, just waiting for some shop time to swap bumpers.
For the record, I work for ICON so I don't usually comment on our stuff from my personal account...
I had your exact same situation. Base with non-LED taillights, with Oracle flush taillights installed. I used the non-LED tow harness from Curt. Easy install, no issues.
Rear shock mount skids are A-OK. I meant Lower Control Arm skids (for the front). Basically adding weight and robbing ground clearance to "protect" a nearly indestructible component. Oh and the squarish fender flares do have some practicality in that they make your Bronco look more like an Early...
