I think the green + available trim colors is too dark... but this white top has me thinking. Maybe add a white decal or white wheels and it would be pretty well balanced.
It looks like I may have misattributed the 100lb comment to you, but:
You have yet to provide a single fact showing the 2.3 (or its 2022 manual transmission) is, or will be, "overworked" regardless of what mods are done after purchasing.... despite pages of comments arguing that exact opinion...
Who cares? You first state that the 2.3 is overworked. When proven wrong about that, you drift off on a rediculous tangent arguing people are going to put EXTRA 100lbs on each hub to overwork their engine (in attempt to prove your original mistake as correct).
When takes your rambling...
In addition to the excellent pro-manual comments already stated, manuals have some distinct durability advantages when off the road:
(1) No extra hoses or fittings to break or snag, thus leaking the lifeblood of the transmission. (2)No extra radiator to plunge a branch through and leak the...
Unless the parked Broncos missed prescribed maintenance stated in the manual, I would doubt there is a case for claiming any depreciation. Oil is usually suggested to be changed every so-many-months, regardless of use, and some 4x4 manuals suggest cycling into and running the 4x4 components...
Definitely too much white in proportion to the blue. Might look better with a 4dr, but think a white top and maybe decals might be plenty of white even then.
I need some input. In the beginning of all this, I knew the models and specs well, but now it is all a blur.
I am getting a manual badlands, no matter what, but was waiting for mansquatch.
If I forgo squatch and go ahead and order a manual badlands, then install this (or a similar kit), would...
I know exactly what this guy is talking about, but there is still hope. URD sells a "short throw" kit for the manual Tacoma. It is easy to install from inside the cab and makes shifting feel less like a 10-speed semi and more like a sports car. It has truly been my favorite mod.
Foot size can...
Wow, now I'm in a bind. I was waiting for 2022 orders due to my BL Mansquatch desire, but a setup similar to this is my end goal.
Soooo tempted now to pull the trigger on a non-squatched BL manual.

I syspect that the "next month" quote is like the "free beer tomorrow" signs at bars.
For those that aren't aware of the joke.... it is never "tomorrow" and always "today".
Thanks for the review and pics!
And thank you to the moderators for keeping this up.... a good portion of people interested In a rugged vehicle are also interested in self-reliance, and this valuable info helped me make my decision.
This console safe is now off of my want-list. I need a fairly...
Is your parking spot inclined in any direction? Do you always park there?
My first thought is that the bumper is holding water from a recent rain or wash, and a new parking spot is now allowing it to drain. Or like others have said, if there is a leaky reservoir above, that could be a source too.
I would trust the owners manual over the dipstick. If the engine takes less oil than stated, someone would have found out long before now.
My bet is that the robot in charge if stamping the dipstick had a bad day... we are talking only a fraction of an inch in fill line error to equal a 1qt...
I have a friend who works directly in a Toyota plant and his entire job is to tweak the plastics designs for better fit and strength inside of design and tooling constraints.
Hopefully Ford has a guy like this and hopefully he is REALLY busy.
I already have 37 envy myself, and am 6 months out. Ugh.
To the OPs concern, I do realize that measuring tires is tough with a tape, and even harder from pics; but unless that is a harbor freight tape, the tire doesn't look like it belongs in the 35 class to me.
Because I am waiting for Mansquatch, I've been out if the loop for a while. Now I am seeing some threads talking about how "having no signed agreement before ordering means you will be at the dealers mercy".
I must be missing something; wouldn't those people simply be "at the mercy of dealer...
I don't understand the problem with deposits. The $100 was for a refundable reservation. A small deposit is useful from a sellers perspective to eliminate orders from non-serious buyers.
I think we would all be miffed if we found out that a bunch of Broncos clogging the assembly line ahead of...
