I find the threads about the how bad the sound system always lack detail of what kind of music people listen to and where they get their music.
I have my music on a USB drive and don't have any issue with the sound quality, when my wife is in the Bronco she connects her streaming music...
I would like to see the Base and BB blended into one. Keep the base but give it some stand alone options from the BB (mid package w leather wrapped wheel, rear locker, 6sp on 4dr, etc.)
Do you have stock tires or upgraded? 10 ply tires including your one spare and a puncture kit should get you through.
Are you making a round trip through Newfoundland or back the same route?
My only concern was rubbing the paint because the pool noodle in front would wiggle back. I had straps on the back noodle so it didn’t move, the front was only sandwiched between the kayaks and windshield frame.
This was my setup last year. It got me 5 minutes down the road to the pond. I might look for something better to keep it up off the windshield this year.
The main reason I have my Bronco is for a 4dr convertible. Its just a plus that I can take it offroad (logger roads).
For those who complain about the wind noise, other issues related to a convertible top and more creature comforts, the Everest would be a better option if you want to stick...
The frameless windows are at the top of my list. They rattle when open, they freeze in winter making the doors hard to open or close, they need regular reseting (not very often but once every few months) and the body frame is still above them so they don’t provide a wide open space like a...
Thanks. The house was originally yellow but we had issues with the siding for years so when we changed it we picked a new colour. My Wife painted the door while I was away for a weekend but I do like it.
The last few days its been very cold and when shifting from 2H to 4H there is a noticeable clunk. I've only had it in 4wd a handful of times and never noticed this before. Is it normal to feel or hear the transfer or is this something I should have checked? I have roughly another month or 2...
I know all dealers are different but I received my $1000 “non-refundable” deposit when I cancelled my original order.
Call them back and ask, don’t ignore them, that will only p*** them off.
I believe mine are jumped on with the backup camera fuse. *edit* attached pic of the fuse location.
Also, I would like to know how your ran your wire into the fusebox.
I have a base and it does the same thing. I didn’t notice it first because I thought I was switching it back to intermittent until I switched it forward and went on high. I was assuming it was a warranty issue until I read about others. This is a terrible feature and I do think it is a hazard...
We finally got snow. It was still grass on Friday then 2 days of snow. The Bronco’s first real snow storm.
No drifting or leaks inside the soft top.
The first 2 pics were Saturday and I cleaned the snow off then woke up to more snow on Sunday (last pic)
