Wow! If you were not having issues with 4WD most likely they replaced the front drive shaft because the slamming into park you were talking about. It wouldn't have anything to do with an oil leak. Even if it was transmission or gear case oil you would be looking at seal replacement, not drive...
The trail sights are unique to the Bronco. Why would you want to take them and make your Bronco look more like all the other lesser vehicles out there, like Jeep and Subaru? Seriously though, they look good and can be useful. But I get it, its cool to change things up.
The doors on a 4dr are way big enough unless you are on the My 600lb life television show, and then you wouldn't fit in any Bronco. 2Dr can be cool I've owned several, but big heavy doors is a con not a pro.
If you choose not go go
Last time I changed planes at O'hare the major came on the public address and said welcome to the greatest city in the USA. So there yah go! Just don't go to the Christmas tree lighting celebration if you value your life.
When you're used to back packing and camping out of a canoe, I could get 30 days of stuff in my 4Dr without folding the rear seats. Of course the canoe needs to go on top.
You should move to Florida or drive only in sunny weather. I drive between Minnesota and Nebraska all the time and drove to Utah during one of the biggest snow storms of the last few years (had to detour because I80 in Wyoming was closed). Couldn't tell where the road was at times but kept it...
Truckers are far better drivers than most cars. There is a reason why most of the vehicles you see in the ditch are cars and SUVs. The exception may be a few that got their CDL from California.
Some of us early order holders (21-22) waited two years for our Bronco. The wait was agonizing but made delivery all the more sweeter.
I get it, still thinking talking about being scammed is a little much...
You have a point, but like my response to the other post its not going to trap salt any more than the OEM plastic molding on lots of other vehicles. I'm not plugging for this company at all, just don't think this is much of a concern.
Well, lots of vehicles have plastic molding like my 2004 Vibe and practically every Subaru. I haven't noticed any corrosion under the molding. The pinch weld itself is heavy gauge like a frame rail, its not going to rust through. I would say by the time corrosion is problem under this cover...
