  1. Ford Ordering Email received today

This morning I received 8 (eight!) Bronco order window opening soon emails from Ford - 4 for each of my two reservations. Anyone else get multiples?
  2. How are you guys going to make your Bronco yours and unique?

I'm gonna take my base reservation - keep it basey basic base of base, Krylon or Rust Oleum the roof white, hit the parts dept for the pieces to make a FoMoCo winch bumper, and throw a Warn 8274 on it.
  3. Anyone else get a Pre-Approval notice on their Bronco Reservation?

I have 2 reservations, a FE and Base. Both of them show the same pre approval amount. Anyone from FoMo Credit lurking, and can tell me if that pre approval is for each reservation, or if it is the total that I can spread across both reservations? (Yes, I am going to buy both.)
  4. Engine Block Heater

If you loop the extension cord over the driver's door mirror you won't forget to unplug it.
  5. Why buy now and settle instead of waiting??

Why am I buying a 2021... First, Ford is not a custom coach builder, they offer options but nothing that is mass produced will be an exact perfect fit for anyone's use case or style preferences. I'm comfortable enough with what's available to punch the button and sign on the dotted line for a...
  6. Announcement: MIC Hardtop Option Only Initially. Black Painted Modular Hardtop Will Be Late Availability

The email never stated the ability to buy it later for $1895. $1895 is likely the retail price when ordered with the vehicle - not retail price when ordered through the parts dept.
  7. Input for portable CD player?

HI - My beloved 2018 Fusion SE, with Sync 3 -easily handles a USB thumb drive with over 1000 mp3 files. Now, there is no search and the songs are played in alphanumerical order based on file name. But - it works.
  8. New Ford Visa Credit Card with 5% off Dealership Purchases

My new Ford Visa arrived today. The included docs mentioned that F-150 and Bronco branded cards will be available in addition to the existing Model A Black and Ford logo blue cards. Anyone have more info on the Bronco version of the card?
  9. Your first Bronco, or repeat offender?

Current owner = 1984 Bronco II, 1996 Bronco XLT (built 2 weeks before the end of production), 1988 Bronco XLT (smashed midship by a tree in Hurricane Sandy, donor to save my 88 F-150...)
  10. What would suprise you the most if it showed up on the B&P as an option?

Yes, but if you get that kit with the FE, the hair is navy blue.
  11. BRONCO: Can it be a sound investment?

I'm telling myself that it is an investment to rationalize the consideration of owning more than one. I have 4 first day reservations. Thinking the FE 2 door and base 2 door will be keepers, and flip the 2d and 4d WTs. I'm taking a HUGE risk - 1, that I'll fall in love with all 4 and can't...
  12. Would a V8 GMC Jimmy Sway You from the Bronco?

I love V8 engines (except for the maintenance.). However - my 2018 Fusion 1.5 turbo is equal off the line to my 1996 Bronco with a 5.8. My 2000 Taurus DOHC is similar. Yes the 96 Bronco can tow more, way more.
  13. Dumbest reason you’re choosing a Bronco, particular trim, or option??

In 1984 my parents bought a new Bronco II. First night it was at home I folded down the back seats and slept in it. Still own it. Bought a 1996 Bronco, was built 2 weeks before the line closed. Still own it. OMO the Bronco is the perfect vehicle for any occasion. Commuting to work, grocery...
  14. Base Model Bronco Thread

Same here - I was fortunate enough (stupid enough?) to score a First Edition - but I also reserved a base 2 door. Gonna build it with locking differentials and nothing else, basy basic base base base... All that's left is to figure out how I'm gonna pay for the 2, and do I order them in the...
  15. Are you a repeat customer at your reservation dealer?

Yes - my family and I"ve bought our Fords from Ditschman Flemington (NJ) for 40+ years. I now live 60 miles away but still go back for sales and parts. 1978 Courier, 1982 F-150, 1982 Nissan Sentra, 1984 Bronco II (still own it), 1986 Sable, 1987 Dodge D-100, 1988 F-150 (still own it), 2009...
  16. Let's get real on maintenance

Sounds like an interesting story, hoping you can/will share.
  17. Let's get real on maintenance

I am a total DIY guy, doing my own maintenance on crusty rusty piles of Fords that flipped the odometer 2 or 3 times and still go & pass inspection. My 2018 Fusion broke my back so to speak. I love that little car, but things changed and it is all dealer service on it as I don't have a lift...
  18. Sasquatch for daily driver?

I'm going to drive my Sasquatch Bronco as a daily driver, hoping that the spare is a same wheel/tire so that I can rotate 5 tires & not have to throw away a good spare when it starts to dry rot. Check in with me in 18 months after vehicle delivery when I have 25-30K miles & spent $2000 for new...
  19. Build and Price for 2021 Bronco soon?

I'm in no rush for build & price, hoping FoMoCo takes time to make it right so we all can get in to the site when it launches. Good grief Charlie Brown, there are 3+ months between now and when the reservation peeps need to make their decision, so another month or so to release the build &...
  20. Cash Vs Bank

Good for you! Yes, youngsters can enjoy a first Bronco experience. Mine was in 1984, my parents surprised me by bringing home a plain base Bronco II. I spent the night sleeping in the back with the seats folded down.
