Mounted my MXT575 in the same space a couple years ago using a bracket I fabricated. Works great in that space! I also mounted an external speaker on a overhead Molly panel because it just wasn’t loud enough under the dash
I am going to be there in a week and a half, my first time in Moab also, do you have any lessons learned or do’s and don’ts from your first trip to Moab?
based on previous posts I know this will go over like a turd in a punchbowl, but personally Im not a fan of HPR. But 2025s offer Ruby Red which is one of my favorite colors, along with Velocity Blue! My wife has a 2014 Ruby Red Edge we have had for 10 years and it is an awesome color!
Extended warranty! With today’s new vehicle complexities, I think you have 2 options. First, trade the vehicle in before the factory warranty expires; or second, purchase an extended OEM factory warranty when you purchase the vehicle and keep the vehicle until just before the extended warranty...
Looks like there’s an agenda here. Most of those vehicles are extremely low in sales, so it would be impractical or impossible statistically for them to be on the highest list of DUIs vehicles.
Probably not what you wanna hear since they were a gift, but I’ll just put it out there as a suggestion. Return the IAG steps and purchase bronco raptor, rock slider steps off of marketplace. You can get both the rock slider and the step for about the same price as the IAG steps, if not cheaper...
That’s another aspect of the MRT hood struts that I didn’t mention in my post earlier. That if you’re using MRT hood struts and you have your hood open on a windy day watch how the top of the hood bounces continually up and down and then look at the hood at the fulcrum point where the hinge...
My 2 cents worth; The best hood struts are from Rough Country “RC” and the worst hood struts are from MRT. The reason is not the hood struts themselves but the way they mount to the fenders and the hood. The RC hood strut mounts to the hood with two bolts and a bracket (see pic) and mount to...
Yes, I agree. I only paid 450 for the bronco raptor takeoffs on marketplace, and that included the steps and the rock sliders. Also, the way the steps attach to the rock slider on the Bronco raptor takeoffs looks so much better than how aftermarket steps attach to the factory rock slider.
I haven’t been offloading since installing them, but I just took one off and took about two minutes. If I was off Roading and needed to remove them, I would store them on my Hooke Road half roof rack with pipe insulation (to prevent damage) and bungee cords.
I’ve had 5 different steps on my Bronco in the 2.5 years I’ve owned it trying to figure out what works best for me. Just recently I put on a set of Bronco Raptor rock slider/steps and I finally found what I was looking for.
I can’t say what it would be for the top alone. I had the mic top, fender flares, rock sliders and front and rear bumpers and grill all done and I think it was about $3500, of course that was 2 years ago.
