I was informed by Ford service (two local shops) that it does not affect extended warranty status is installed by a dealer or ASE certified mechanic. That's the main reason I paid to have it installed instead of doing it myself.
Ok - are we really thinking that with all the tech in a car, once you have the digital license plate, thatās when they can track you? Like thatās the thing that puts everything over the edge?
You are not getting more than a paid for repair. You already got the "I am just paying for this to go away" offer, which is the offer to pay for the repair. You can't prove anything about the paint chip. If I were advising the dealer and I got that extortion letter from you, I would tell them...
Yeah, I would start looking into whether you need to get some $$$ back. If you paid for an OBX, there are quite a few options you didn't get. Whether the Base rocks or not is irrelevant. You're talking about $15k+ you may be owed.
Iām confused. Doesnāt the bronco always start up in normal. And sport is always next to normal?
[Edit] I stand corrected. I guess I never really paid attention.
Honestly, it's not that much more expensive at the dealer and half the time they have specials that bring the price down. For me, I take it there to avoid any possible argument of a warranty issue.
