Just red from what I could see.
Iāve been looking at aftermarket rear bumpers š. But then canāt use the tow hooks or mud flaps š¤·š¼āāļø.
Iāll sell my tow hook, Iām sure someone can even out their bronco if it only came with one.
End result:
I was going to replace a tow hook and one of the welded nuts came loose šā¦so it was just hanging out in the frameā¦then I had to get the license plate holder out of the way, bam, all brackets snapped off at once š. I second whomever said this is a janky bumper lol. I just zip tied the bottom of...
Figured it out:
Broke off the license plate holder trying to remove it to access the nut šā¦.comedy of errorsā¦
These are the worst/weakest tabs ever:
Zip ties it is:
Got the bolt out with the help of some pressure from a pry bar while loosening the bolt. The nut is definitely broken loose š ā¦not sure how to fix that š¤
Red hook looks cool tho:
I just got some (ford performance red ones) for $100 shipped. I went to remove the one tow hook on driver side of my Black Diamond and a bolt is stuck or the nut came loose in the frame or something is wrong š I canāt remove it. Any advice? It just spins freelyā¦
Pics of the red ones:

I usually pay off early or sell or trade in my vehicles after a year or so (vehicular ADD, itās a thing!) so I donāt end up paying all that much in interest. If I decide I do want to keep the vehicle I focus on paying it off more promptly.
Yeah, Iām curious to see how long theyāll last where they are š ⦠other option is to mount them like OP did, which is tucked in a bit more. Or on the spare with a bracket.
Howdy.
Are these legal/good for road use in the SAE Fog light pattern? I want to be able to run them at night on road. I already have light bar/ditch lights for offroad use.

Thanks for the inspiration!
I went a slightly different route, still have the brackets and will replicate your set up as a plan-B. I ended up mounting to the steel bumper. Finding that rear aux wire was such a PITA...but took my time and made it work. Not sure how, as I didn't take apart much...
Got around to installing my RC 2 inch cube lights for the rear bumper.
This was not really straightforward and the rear AUX wire is a major PITA to get to, lol.

Great question! So I wired it to the AUX switch as a trigger wire. I followed their instructions to do that here (starting page 11): https://s3.amazonaws.com/roughcountry/install/921510660.pdf
So I kept their whole harness and wired positive and negative to the battery. I didnāt mind and gave...

I owned for 2 yrs a 2016 SR5 that I added bilstein 6112/5160 and BFG KO2ās.
As others have said theyāre both very different vehicles.
The 4R is stupid reliable, very solid and no frills.
Before I got my Bronco I test drove a TRD Pro 4R debating going back to that platform.
