Congratulations!
I also went from a Wrangler to a Bronco.
I was on my third Wrangler. A 2021 X-treme Rubicon. The Sasquatch of Wranglers. Loved it. Great vehicle. Drove nicely, was geared perfectly, had the stance, looks and options. Super capable. Had to sell for personal reasons.
When time...
I just got from Costco a TypeS 4k Dashcam. Plugged it into the cigarette plug in the center console. On sale for $99. Awesome quality and functionality so far. It has a gps box on the power cord I lay around my dash cell phone mount. Definitely not a clean install but Iām testing it out for now lol.
I was able to work with a local dealer who had a few Broncoās on the lot to get one at MSRP. They chose it. Just happened to be precisely what I wanted. Dumb luck. The crazy thing is they had an ADM of $29,999 on it for a $45.5k Broncoā¦š
Iāve been enjoying ECO mode too during break-in.
Mainly city driving tho.
The tranny shifts smooth for the most part but sometimes it goes too high in gears and bogs down and feels like itās gonna stall, lol.
Some initial shifts also arenāt the smoothest. But figured with 10 gears thatās...
I am also looking at getting this RC mount.
Just would like a winch that doesnāt block the Bronco lettering maybe but that may not really matter in the end. I was thinking of just getting their RC12k winch due to price and good reviews on it.
If I do that and add the Safari Bar itāll complete...
Congratulations! I cannot imagine waiting ~2years! Longest I waited for a vehicle factory order was ~4months. Kudos for having that amount of patience.
I believe so!
Icalled em today actually to quote the Warn Winch package from FPP catalog. About 3-4 hours install tall at $190/hr. They sublet to installers (~1 week turnaround) or can run it thru the shop but they're 3-4 weeks out.
So sorry this happened.
I took the decision to avoid any reservation/order and waited until now to source an in-stock because I simply didn't trust the ordering process or the dealers. Just found a local dealer that was willing to sell at MSRP and drove off same day. Still was a PITA dealing...
I knew I wanted a new Bronco.
I just waited until inventory started building up. In combination with year end I found a dealer that had a Black Diamond in stock they'd sell at MSRP. I wanted the BD because it has enough (more than enough) of the goodies. Rear locker, bash plates, modular...
