Finding some OEM takeoffs would be the way to go for the headlights. I’ve seen them from $700-1500 for a pair in classifieds. Should be plug and play.
Not sure if the taillights are plug and play for the LED ones?
I’m pretty sure the tailgate is designed to carry a 35 no problem. I’ve been debating getting a reinforcement (like the RC one) but think of all the SAS broncos off-roading and all with the stock 35 hanging on there. Plus if the tailgate is rated to 130+ pounds, then a 35 is well within that, no?
I have a BD. Will be doing 35’s, the skinny Kenda’s (35x10.5x17). I might just remove crash bars and see if the lift is really needed for what I’m doing. Which is primarily forest service roads. If it rubs. Then will do either SAS takeoffs or the Ford Performance lift or the Eibach Coilovers and...
I’m in a similar situation with my stock BD. Will be putting on 35’s (the skinny Kenda’s) and thought I read the SAS take offs will give you about an inch lift. Might also be better suited to handle the heavier tires vs the stock BD suspension. I’m just not sure if I should do the SAS take offs...
So I am in the same predicament.
Want to get about 1-2 inches of lift.
Was thinking about the Ford Perf set up ($1700) or some SAS take offs ($500-1000).
But am leaning towards the Eibach set up ($1600), being able to adjust the height with added mods, seems like a great option.
Since I'll be...
It depends. As I have them with the front crash bars installed those block one of the screws. Otherwise it's 3 screws up front, 4 bolts out back. I think the Rockblokz would be what you want if you plan on taking them on/off often. These are flappy at the bottom, so that part will just easily...
I had some Rockblokz on my previous Jeep. They were fine. Decided to go with Rally Armor this go round and am very happy! They're wide, and flappy at the bottom (so will be great for off-roading) and will be perfect for once I install some SAS takeoff wheels/tires!
