  3. [CLOSED] GIVEAWAY: DIY Windshield Protection Film Kit (exoshield) for your Ford Bronco!

That seems like a lot moisture between the film and the glass. Has this product been real world tested by anyone who lives where it freezes in the winter?
  4. [CLOSED] GIVEAWAY: DIY Windshield Protection Film Kit (exoshield) for your Ford Bronco!

0 replacement / 3 repairs. My spouse and I each have our own 2022 Wildtrak's. We have both had to repair small chips and cracks using over the counter resin repair kits, and recently had to have her's professionally repaired due to a larger hit. No window replacements thus far. Not...
  5. Tahoe trails - a little air, a little water w/ Wildtrak

Very Very cool photos. I do live driving up there and in Toiyobe Forest, especially after Labor Day.
  6. Why don’t you use sport mode on road?

I do use it, but sparingly. I enjoy the snappier gear ratio that mode chooses, and It's pretty good for getting up to speed on an uphill freeway on-ramp. Other than that, I leave it in Normal. My spouse also has a '22 Wildtrak SAS, 4dr. She does a lot of mountain travel and long distance stuff...
  7. Put 20s on my Wildtrak - Now Roast Me

Your cash, your rig, your choice. I think it looks pretty snappy although I wouldn't do it with my rig. I spend some time in the mountains and desert and they would get likely get trashed. That said, if you are primarily a pavement kinda driver....bling it up!!
  8. Bronco Off-Road Rodeo - Question re Moab

I am from Reno and had never visited Moab, so I am probably not the best to comment on someone else's "backyard," but...I will. It was beautiful and the scenery amazing. As for the course, I also have some experience wheeling, but mostly in side by sides. taking a Bronc off-road is a bit...
  9. Ham Radio Install with Pictures

Curious how you got the Cat 5 from the radio body to the head? I just installed a BulletPoint dash mounting system for my Garmin and phone, and I am now thinking of putting my Icom radio head there as well. Any tips on how you ran the Cat 5?
  10. Very odd ticking sound while parked- Time Bomb? LOL

Thank you for the responses. I do believe it has something to do with emission control system. It stopped a couple hours after I posted and started back up again today after I had been driving it. I think it has some kind of pump that pulls the gases out of the tank when the fuel is warm and...

  12. 🍺😯 "Hold my Beer" Bronco Shots

  13. Very odd ticking sound while parked- Time Bomb? LOL

Oh...and I brought up the rock rails because they have a motor attached to a servo and I did see a wiring harness leading into the rails from the back rear. Not sure it would be related as they are on an RFID switch inside the door frames.
  14. Very odd ticking sound while parked- Time Bomb? LOL

Any insight into an odd noise? I have a 2022 Wildtrak, Sasquatch package. I swapped the stock Billies for Fox adjustable and a few other after market add- ons, including Rockslide Engineering rock rails to the sides with the auto steps. It's been VERY hot here last few days and getting hotter...
  15. CV Joints-question

Yeah...I think you are on point. Ford replaced the half axle (not under warranty) and I retained the old axle / CV's. The diff side was clearly separated inside in some form and had noticeable issues when I manipulated the joint. I took it back to the shop that did the install, and they are not...
