  1. šŸ›  4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

The random number generator Ford uses moved my ETA back to 7/25, can’t wait to find out what the ETA will be that day.
  2. PSA: How Much Drivetrain Damage can happen from pushing the wrong Button ?

I can do that in a few weeks. Wouldn’t mind some feedback, recommendations to ensure it’s ready, accurate, and as helpful as possible.
  3. šŸ›  4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Ford said my Bronco has been released and the ETA moved forward to 7/5-11 since being built. I asked for tracking information. They said only the dealer can see that since it’s ā€œreleasedā€ and no longer in Michigan. Seemed strange. Ford then offered to transfer me to the dealer for an update...
  4. PSA: How Much Drivetrain Damage can happen from pushing the wrong Button ?

The GOAT modes both make 4 wheeling easier and more complex. I consider myself extremely knowledgeable about powertrains, but not experienced. There are two lanes of learning. Technology and Scenarios. I recommend starting with learning what the technology actually does. Only then can you...
  5. šŸ›  4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

The market is up 5% and gas is locally down 50 cents since Ford finished building my Bronco. Think of the mess they could have saved the world from had Ford just finished it on 4/8 as planned.
  6. Recovery Strap - Where do I start?

I went with a ARB recovery strap (not a tow strap, has 20% elongation). Lower cost and much smaller / easier to lug around than a kinetic recovery rope. Will not last as long being the downside, so if I end up using it a lot I will want to upgrade to a rope. One tip that I initially missed...
  7. šŸ›  4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Received my ā€œBuiltā€ email today one day after Order Track updated. Gave me a 7/14-20 ETA to the dealer. No photo of it coming off the line, maybe I’ll get a ā€˜coming out of the rework loop’ photo, essentially two guys hammering the b-pillar straight with dirt mountain looming in the background...
  8. šŸ›  4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Reservation moved to Awaiting Shipment status today after 71 days of being in production. Optimism is creeping back in
  9. šŸ›  4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

I’m looking forward to my bi-weekly Friday revised ETA. I’m thinking 2 more weeks ought to do the trick.
  10. šŸ›  4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

I expect a lot of build emails to fly out next week. In advance of that, thought I’d share my dealer experience from a few weeks ago. Received the video, while watching received the other texts saying it’s not mine. Like N. F. W. 4 things (posted in another thread). He’s been a good guy...
  11. That’s hilarious Ford

Just in case anyone thinks I’m BSing. 4 things 1. He mentions not responding to my previous texts 2. The video has the, ā€œit’s finally hereā€œ and other very exciting words I’m sure the other guy really enjoyed hearing 3. It’s now June 12th. It’s not in 4. Yes, I decided to drink whiskey tonight...
  12. That’s hilarious Ford

I’m one of those stuck 4/4 guys. My dealer sent me a video of a car hauler pulling in saying, ā€œit was a long wait but it’s finally hereā€œ in a text that was shortly followed by, ā€œoh man, sorry, wrong customer.ā€ I was like. N. F. W.
  13. Late April Update - Granger Ford

This could easily be a situation where June and July have low builds due to shutdown and trying to process dirt mountain. Doesn’t explain only 3 though.
  14. To Squatch or Not To Squatch on Badlands

I agree with this. I went non-SAS and already regret which is a terrible feeling for a $50k purchase. The good news is that on the BL I can remedy it fairly easily and end up with tires I prefer for almost the same money. still, for about the same $$$ I’d rather lug around the GYs until they...
  15. To Squatch or Not To Squatch on Badlands

Ok, so that’s equivalent to adding a just over 2ā€ spacer (+55 BL stock wheels to 0 offset = 2.1ā€). Looking at your photos that helps explain the amount of poke. Looks awesome.
  16. To Squatch or Not To Squatch on Badlands

Does non-SAS also require spacers or did you address that with less offset on your new wheels? I want to keep my BL wheels but with 55 offset think I need at least 1ā€ spacers. I don’t know why anyone planning to install new wheels would SAS a BL.
  17. Getting 35s on a Badlands

Have you tried this? Fewer tire options, but Toyo AT3 comes in that size. I might still add spacers but could avoid the level.
  18. šŸ›  4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Mine is still stuck. I now believe one of there things: 1. This is all an elaborate ruse to screw with BroncoT. There is no Bronco, the ones I’ve seen are manaquins and you are all Russian agents. Ford might not even be a real company. 2. Ford flagged BroncoT as a guy they have specifically...
  19. šŸ—“ 2023MY Bronco Ordering, Production Scheduling, and Job #1 Dates

I plan to upgrade to the, ā€œspend 4 months on dirt mountainā€ package since I’m enjoying it so much for my MY22.
