Ford said my Bronco has been released and the ETA moved forward to 7/5-11 since being built. I asked for tracking information. They said only the dealer can see that since itās āreleasedā and no longer in Michigan. Seemed strange. Ford then offered to transfer me to the dealer for an update...
The GOAT modes both make 4 wheeling easier and more complex. I consider myself extremely knowledgeable about powertrains, but not experienced. There are two lanes of learning. Technology and Scenarios. I recommend starting with learning what the technology actually does. Only then can you...
The market is up 5% and gas is locally down 50 cents since Ford finished building my Bronco. Think of the mess they could have saved the world from had Ford just finished it on 4/8 as planned.
I went with a ARB recovery strap (not a tow strap, has 20% elongation). Lower cost and much smaller / easier to lug around than a kinetic recovery rope. Will not last as long being the downside, so if I end up using it a lot I will want to upgrade to a rope.
One tip that I initially missed...
Received my āBuiltā email today one day after Order Track updated. Gave me a 7/14-20 ETA to the dealer. No photo of it coming off the line, maybe Iāll get a ācoming out of the rework loopā photo, essentially two guys hammering the b-pillar straight with dirt mountain looming in the background...
I expect a lot of build emails to fly out next week. In advance of that, thought Iād share my dealer experience from a few weeks ago. Received the video, while watching received the other texts saying itās not mine. Like N. F. W. 4 things (posted in another thread). Heās been a good guy...
Just in case anyone thinks Iām BSing. 4 things
1. He mentions not responding to my previous texts
2. The video has the, āitās finally hereā and other very exciting words Iām sure the other guy really enjoyed hearing
3. Itās now June 12th. Itās not in
4. Yes, I decided to drink whiskey tonight...
Iām one of those stuck 4/4 guys. My dealer sent me a video of a car hauler pulling in saying, āit was a long wait but itās finally hereā in a text that was shortly followed by, āoh man, sorry, wrong customer.ā I was like. N. F. W.
This could easily be a situation where June and July have low builds due to shutdown and trying to process dirt mountain. Doesnāt explain only 3 though.
I agree with this. I went non-SAS and already regret which is a terrible feeling for a $50k purchase. The good news is that on the BL I can remedy it fairly easily and end up with tires I prefer for almost the same money.
still, for about the same $$$ Iād rather lug around the GYs until they...
Ok, so thatās equivalent to adding a just over 2ā spacer (+55 BL stock wheels to 0 offset = 2.1ā). Looking at your photos that helps explain the amount of poke. Looks awesome.
Does non-SAS also require spacers or did you address that with less offset on your new wheels? I want to keep my BL wheels but with 55 offset think I need at least 1ā spacers.
I donāt know why anyone planning to install new wheels would SAS a BL.
Mine is still stuck. I now believe one of there things:
1. This is all an elaborate ruse to screw with BroncoT. There is no Bronco, the ones Iāve seen are manaquins and you are all Russian agents. Ford might not even be a real company.
2. Ford flagged BroncoT as a guy they have specifically...
