I don't know about anyone else, but when the Bronco was first announced, one of the most exciting features that it was to offer was embedded trail maps along with the built in navigation system. If memory serves correctly, it was supposed to be available "shortly after production delivery took...
Meh....It's still the same wrangler at heart. Been there, done that one too many times.
This is Jeep trying to out-spec Ford's Bronco, not by much but just enough to say they have better specs. It's nothing major like when they went to coil over suspension back in '98. It's pretty much the...
Asking whether the 2 door or 4 door is better is like asking whether shorts or long pants are better. The answer is that it depends on where you are going and what you expect to be doing.
In my case, the 4 door badlands is perfect and I enjoy it from every perspective, including having extra...
What ☝ he said. It's a simple solution. You don't even need to buy anything. Make a stop yourself from a small piece of wood that is thick enough to prevent the bit from hitting the other side of the tailgate. You just drill a hole through it and viola. I did it and it worked like a charm...
What 👆 he said. Always get your own financing and walk in prepared with that. The dealer still has the option to beat it, but rarely will they because its one of the ways they make more $$.
I generally research where I am going in advance and purchase the passes on the state DNR site. It's a small price to pay to alleviate one less thing to worry about. (Although CA is F-cking nuts on their fee. I recently did some off roading in SD and the trail pass was $25)
I don't have any pics, but StickerFab offers some very nice labels that stick right to the switch. They even offer glow in the dark versions which is what I bought.
Heartbreaking I am sure, but thank God your wife is ok.
From the pics it look like the frame may be bent based on the driver door.
If so, it's best to be totaled because it'll never be the same.
Hoping everything works out in your favor no matter the outcome.
I've got more important things to do than futz around with a badge. Getting all wrapped up In your undershorts about what a badge says or doesn't say is nuts.
What matters is how the driver / vehicle performs in any given situation.
Maybe the owners should have to "earn" the badge rather...
I was under the impression from the release notes that it had to be activated to become "active".
I know that its listed as being included under "connected services" but I don't think that necessarily means its active. Having said that, I haven't specifically looked in settings to see where or...
I agree. If you go back and look at the forums from July 2020 to August 2021 Area 51 was absolutely the highest rated and most sought after color.
It would be interesting to see the results of the inverse of this poll right now, meaning "What is your favorite color for the Bronco"?
Don't get your undies in a bunch......It was a JOKE.....you know, something to make light of a situation and have a laugh. I know what OBX & NC stands for, although I do think it will be lost on 90% of the people who see it. But if you like it, that's all that counts, right?
Go for it.
Thanks very much for the video and the time trials. Good to see what the performance tune can do. The only problem I see if the need to use 93 octane. The price of 93 octane in illinois is astronomical and that is a real detractor at the moment. I plan to get it but not until (or if) gas...
I've been going back and forth on whether I want to buy one of these enclosures. I was concerned about rattles, which your review seems to address.
The other thing I have a concern about is whether it will work with a tailgate table. I keep looking at pictures of the enclosure on the...
With many years of trail riding with groups, a Best Practice and a good rule of thumb is to never lose sight of the vehicle behind you. If they stop, then you should stop to lend assist as necessary.
It sounds like had the more capable vehicles in the front of your group exercised that...
I've bookmarked this thread and will try it in the spring. I tried using the OP post with all the weather stripping that was recommended from Amazon and its crap. The adhesive wouldn't at all and I tried using both acetone and 99% isopropyl alcohol to thoroughly clean all surfaces. I was able...
mmmmm....I don't know about that. I belonged to two different Jeep clubs throughout the years and it always amazed me the antagonism that the hard core jeepers gave to the newbies and those who chose to keep their Jeep mostly stock.
Overall, I do agree with you that Jeep owners are nice...
