I worked in the computer industry for 40 years and it’s amazing how many issues can be resolved by either the “three finger salute”, (ctrl-alt-del), or by pulling the plug for 30 seconds. We need the equivalent on our Broncos.
…..and we’re worried about AI taking over society……. Just kick...
I agree. “Loud” is a relative term. If you are buying a 4wd vehicle with a removable top and meaty tires and are expecting the quiet interior of a luxury vehicle, well then, you are setting yourself up for disappointment.
In relative terms for the class of vehicle, I think the Bronco is...
👆 Exactly what I was thinking although he used better adjectives. My kind of guy!
As for anyone who gets wrapped up in their undershorts by someone who parks this way, I say F—k’em if they can’t take a joke.
It’s a pretty sweet, (and amazingly clear) handheld radio. I too am interested in their dash mount but hadn’t seen a picture of it before now. (Is that it in the picture you posted?).
I too am going to connect a vehicle mounted antenna but not until it gets a bit warmer to work outside. 😁
I prefer using a portable handheld and made a custom mount that attaches to the picatinny rail. This particular portable GMRS radio can be charged off the built in USB port, and also has a handheld mic for convenient use while driving. As far a mounting, you just need to get creative to make...
Wow. That picture would ruin a wet dream at a hundred yards. Someone has more money than brains, (or taste). That thing should offer enough regret for all of us. Let me guess, whoever own this lives in Miami or LA?
Well, by now you are probably thoroughly confused and may have learned not to ask a technical question on a forum like this because you'll get more opinions than you can shake a stick at and no substantiative information.
From my view here in the cheap seats, I would answer most questions in...
You took the word right out of my mouth!
I'll add two others: Fingerprint Magnet.
I'll stick with my Bronco until a reliable Hydrogen Powered truck arrives on the scene. EV's are a half-baked solution to personal transportation.
Definitely want one of these tops. However, the only problem I see is the likely shipping cost. Turm is in California so theres a lot of asphalt between California and the Midwest or east coast. May add significantly to the cost But it will be intersting to see how this plays out once they...
I’ve had mine installed for about 9 months now and love it. The added security it provides when the top is off is the main reason for the purchase. I too used my Ford points and the total cost was around $300 after the points were used.
Two issues I experienced:
1) If you use the top lift pro...
Go easy. There's no need to reply in an ugly manner. I too have owned multiple Jeeps and two of them were inexplicably like a wind storm inside the cabin when driving above 35 mph. The Jeep dealer kind of threw up their hands, but over time I was able to tweak things to quiet it down. It's...
I have the toplift pro and like it very much. I have an older house with a single car garage which was originally designed for smaller vehicles, so there isn't a lot of extra room to store a top.
Using the Toplift pro, its a simple matter of removing the top and pushing the list all the way to...
There may be multiple ways to do this but the one way I noticed that works is to download the trail you are interested in. Once that is done You can select Tools ==>My Trails and then pick the trail from your downloaded list. Select "Send Trailhead" and it will ask you which navigation app you...
Glad this is finally available! Has some pretty cool features and I like the user interface. Seems much easier to use than On X. I think this will be my go to for off roading now.
For those of you looking for a great on-road routing & Navigation program that allows for multi-day and...
Uh Oh. I just made a service appointment this morning for leaking fluid from under the Bronco. Earliest appointment is the end of May, but I hope I don't wind up with this issue.
My '21 Badlands is stock and probably will stay that way. OK, I did put USA Flag emblems on the side rear windows, but I don't think that counts.
From all the wandering on and off road I've done so far, the Bronco is highly capable and doesn't need any tweaking, (IMHO).
Understood and agree.
However, you missed my point: Don't announce a product until its close to reality. If you are in the R&D phase when you announce, then it's an "idea" not a product. That's all I am saying.
I gave up waiting for it to become reality and bought something else. I am not a fan of manufacturers announcing "a product" so far in advance of the design and manufacturing process. Then they get frustrated when potential customers keep asking "when?".
Think Ford with the Bronco, Pretty...
