i've driven a 2.7 black diamond 2 door non sas and a 2.3 badlands 4 door non sas, and honestly i think i had more fun driving the 2.3. The 2.7 is quick dont get me wrong, but theres something about the character of the 2.3 that i really enjoy. Im getting the 2.3 since im getting the manual sas...
That’s annoying. I’ve noticed these pieces fit like shit on every bronco I’ve seen in person. It looks like such an ugly afterthought of a body piece that fills an awkward gap that shouldn’t be there
For sure! I had a 2013 focus ST, everyone says it the bronco manual feels like the focus st/RS. I LOVED my st gearbox, so I’m sure this will feel great.
I test drove a 2.3 auto trans the other day, loved the power/torque feel. Way better than my v6 manual transmission JLUR lol
100% agreed. I’d never trust a dealership to detail my car either. I’d bet they don’t even know what rail dust is and would end up submitting a warranty claim to ford, when all of this could be fixed for about $15 and a few minutes of OP’s time lol
Yeah it’s so easy to ride/burn up a clutch when off road especially if you’ve never done it before.
I could’ve easily killed my clutch the first time I took my Jeep on the sand hahah I had no idea what I was doing, and that you really gotta keep it on the gear you’re in and keep your momentum...
ugh, im jealous of the people im seeing who have been able to test drive a manual haha.
i've test driven both the 2.7 & 2.3, i honestly loved the 2.3 and think i had more fun driving that one. It was paired with the auto of course, but im sure id love the manual, which is what im planning on...
ugh, yeah so no offense to Tom or his guys but i cant stand when dealers do their delivery "detail". id so much rather take the vehicle dirty, knowing that no one touched it. i do a 2+ day full detail right when i get home, so yeah i feel your pain on this.
ill have to have Tom leave a note in...
as someone who owns a wrangler, i cant wait for the refinement and better riding bronco to be in my garage. youre going to regret not waiting another few months for the bronco... youve waited this long, i wouldnt settle.
The only real issue with the bronco is the MIC top, which they are fixing...
Yeah they’ve literally stopped production of all MIC tops to fix these issues… and OP is gunna get a new one from ford.
Not much to say here, it should honestly be expected that any MIC tops that got out to the public are gunna leak/look like shit etc, there’s a reason why they’re completely...
Wow, that’s crazy. I pay $65/month thru geico for my 2021 rubicon, lowest deductibles possible and average coverage for everything else, no emergency roadside since I have AAA.
never in an accident (knock on wood) or speeding ticket etc
what’s your coverage look like? I live in PA, so that...
I’d use something like this, it’s meant for interior stuff and it doesn’t leave your seats slippery at all. I use it all the time on my vinyl seats in my rebel.
