i feel the best thing to do is, if you can, to go through a dealer that has a high presence on this forum. Signed price agreements are ehh and really dont mean much. I'm sure there's some stupid disclosure in the fine print that nobody reads that protects the dealer in a case like this anyway. I...
as tough as it would be to walk away, i would ask them to try again and build another. I couldn't imagine waiting all this time only to accept something thats already gunna have new paintwork and body repair before you even took ownership of it. I wouldnt care at all about the windshield...
i totally get where youre coming from. I would however say that fords ecoboost engines have proven to be very reliable long term. I would also add that my current 3.6 pentastar in my JL is naturally aspirated, has been around for a long time (not considering the changes they made in 2018 to the...
all i want is a manual on a 4 door base lol thats bones enough for me.
having a manual t case in my JLUR is a PITA, it only wants to shift into 4HI/Lo about half the time and sometimes i gotta roll it forward, shift gears etc. No thanks!! Never had an electronic t case fail on me
One thing I’ve come to realize is that the factory sidesteps make them look way less aggressive and lower. I love how they look (mainly sas) with no side steps, rock rails etc
i also think the bronco looks a lot more sculpted with the hard top vs the soft top
sucks for all of us waiting, but this is honestly great news. sounds like ford is working hard to fix the MIC top issues.
Rather have them do it now than later. Thanks as always for the updates, Tom!
My wrangler has paint missing around the exterior hinges. From the Broncos I’ve seen in person, the overall quality is far better than my Jeep. I would just be sure to get some spray wax in there every time you wash it and I’m sure you’ll be fine.
On the bright side, I like the design of the...
Thank you! This is perfect.
So once the dent would occur, and you’d do the repair you stated, the hood would be straight again and good to go for the future?
are most doors engineered like this? I had a hard time believing the hinge is connected to the door skin when i first saw this pic. Door skins are so thin, you'd think the hinge itself would be no way shape or form connected to and sharing the strength of the light weight door skin
i saw that, found someone that even made a custom door check to prevent the door from opening too far.
too soon to tell if thats going to be an issue here. looks like its more-so the metal that the hinge is attached to cant handle the stress of the door being hyper extended.
Again, hopefully...
