I'll check with American Adventure Lab, as I'm really not sure. I can tell you that it can handle a significant load in terms of mounted accessories and tools, but I would not use it as a roof rack for things that would extend up and above the roof line and catch the air while driving.

Yes, American Adventure Lab makes that adjustable height shelf and the spare tire shelf. The spare tire shelf is available for order now, at the American Adventure Lab website. The adjustable height shelf will be available for order shortly after SEMA.

Highly recommend a wrap. Mine was done with Avery Dennison Supreme Defense Matte and it's awesome.

It's the seams, most likely. Gloss seams can show because you can't actually see much difference in the finish, but with matte the seams are much more apparent. Also, I am pretty sure the gloss material is cheaper, but I'm not 100% sure.
